Beep! Beep! Be-!

"Ughh.." Y/n groans as she wakes up to turn off her alarm clock. She sat up on her bed, rubbing her forehead as she starts to feel a headache form from last night. Completely dehydrated from eating a container of brownies and not drinking water afterwards.

Knock knock

"Come in." Y/n tiredly says. She sets her feet out of bed, steadying herself to stand up and get ready for school.

"Good morning Ms. Y/n. I was told to inform you that after you get ready, your parents will be waiting for you downstairs in the main room."

"Okay." She nods.

"Oh and I found your phone just laying on the floor this morning." He carefully handed the phone to Y/n.

"Thanks Jarvis." She nodded before letting the man know that it's okay to leave now. After hearing her room door close she winces a sigh. She knew what they were going to say and with her state of mind she wasn't ready.

...

Y/n being all dressed in her school uniform and her hair nicely brushed, she grabs her bag and quietly walked down the stairs. She hopes that she can just walk past her parents without them noticing.

When she sees the front door, she mentally praised herself for successfully-

"Where do you think you're going?" Y/n mentally cursed when she heard her mother's stern tone before turning around to be met with her, crossing her arms.

Spoke too soon.

"School." She simply answers. "An hour early?" Her mother asks. "You always leave 15 minutes before school starts plus Chan hasn't even come over yet." She added.

"We're meeting at school today." Y/n says. Her mother furrowed her eyebrows, "But you guys always walk to school together."

"Well change is good. Did I mention I have school?" Y/n tries to leave again until-

"Sit." Mrs. Kim sternly says. Y/n groans, obeying her mother as she sits next to her father. "Don't you have to be at the office?" She asks.

"Your mother wanted us both to be here. Actually yeah, Honey is this really necessary? She just missed one dinner." Mr. Kim said.

Mrs. Kim shook her head, "It's not just about the dinner. She should've called to tell us she wasn't going to come or matter in fact, answer our calls so we wouldn't have to worry." She explains.

Y/n frowns, lowering her head when she remembered that she turned her phone off. "I'm sorry. Yesterday I actually turned off my phone and Chan and I broke up so the dinner completely slipped my mind."

"Thats it? Honey might as well just bring him along to dinner like last time." Her mother shrugs. Y/n stammered her words. "What?"

"You kids are always in a on and off relationship. You guys fight, not talk for hours, make up, then invite him to our family dinner."

Y/n shook her head, "It's really over this time." Her parents didn't believe her but they just smile and nod at her.

"That's what you said the last few times. Its okay honey, you don't need to explain. Just go ahead, go to school." Her father patted her back before giving her a gentle push off the couch.

She was stuttering but nothing came out of her mouth. She didn't know what to say so she just left it alone and went to school.

...

Y/n sighs as she grabs her textbooks from her locker. She knows she is gonna have to face Chan sooner or later and she hopes it wouldn't be soon.

Before she was able to close her locker, someone else did.

"You promised." Sujin frowned, her hand still on Y/n's locker. The girl sighs, "Please Sujin, not right now. I can't talk about this right now."

Sujin looks at her cousin in concern. "What happened? Is it the reason why you didn't come to the dinner last night?" She asks.

Y/n nodded, "Chan and I broke up."

She thought her reaction was gonna be the opposite of her parents but it was exactly the same. "Again? What did you guys even fight about this time?" She furrows her eyebrows.

Y/n groans, "We really were in a on and off relationship. But this time, its really over." Y/n declared.

Sujin holds onto Y/n's shoulder in concern. "This doesn't sound like you guys. Seriously what happened?"

She just walks past with Sujin following right behind her. As they were walking down the school's hallways, Y/n notices a couple of students looking at her and whispering to each other.

They made a turn and came across the bulletin board. Y/n was at no words but Sujin eyes went wide.

"What the hell?" She furiously pulls the paper off. "School's Bang Chan isn't as great as we thought." She read. Under the headline shows two pictures, one where Y/n was walking away from Chan and one where Chan was talking to the girl he cheated with.

"What is this?" Sujin furiously holds up the paper and the small groups of students whispering turned into a larger group. Y/n grabbed her cousin's arm, pulling her into a empty classroom.

"You guys broke up because he cheated right?" Sujin shook her head. "Is that why you didn't show up to dinner? You should've called me."

Y/n sighs, "It's embarrassing okay. It's also bad for the press when your parents are famous." She slumps her shoulders as she sits on one of the desks.

"Then who took these photos and posted it for the school to see?" Sujin waves the paper. "Can we not talk about this, or at least wait until we get to my house?" Y/n pleaded.

"Fine but I swear to god, if I even see him-"

"You won't do anything." Y/n finishes her sentence. Sujin takes a step towards her cousin, "Y/n, Chan has been your best friend ever since you guys started primary school and he cheated on you." She snarled.

"And it's my concern, not yours." Y/n shook her head.

"No you see it is my concern because after what happened to me, he knows how much of an affect it would be for you." Sujin frowns.

"We should get to class." Y/n said, almost no expression, before leaving the classroom.

Sujin just sighs at how her cousin isn't taking any action like how she would usually do. "Chan really did a number on her" She thought.
