Next Day

*Bell ring*

"You didn't answer my calls." Sujin frowns as she takes her seat next to Y/n. She just ignores Sujin as she writes in her notebook. "I was busy." She said, still not looking at Sujin.

"Come on you still can't be mad about what happened yesterday. Its just what I do, for your protection." Sujin said.

Y/n stared at her notebook before turning towards Sujin. "Stop saying that, I know how to protect myself. And two things. One, Chan never cheated to begin with so you can really stop this whole protection program. And two, you're only a few months older than me."

Sujin shrugs, "Even so."

"But back up, how do you know Chan never really cheated?" Sujin asks.

Y/n sighs as she puts her focus back to her notebook. "He explained to me about what happened."

Sujin shook her head. "And you just believed him like that? What if he was lying?"

Y/n looks at Sujin again. "You know Chan isn't like that and when I was walking to the convenience store yesterday that girl, who was with Chan that day, came up to me apologizing. Although she might be a fan of my parents so I couldn't really tell if it was fake or not."

She shook her head. "But then she explained it just how Chan explained it to me."

"So does that mean you're back with Chan?" Sujin asks.

"No." Y/n said.

"Because you're dating Felix now?" She widened her eyes.

"What? No." Y/n shook her head. "I'm not dating Chan. I'm not dating Felix. I'm not dating anyone. Sujin did you not hear what I said, I'm taking a break from dating." She said.

"Wow." Sujin exhales as she slumps back into her seat. "What?" Y/n angrily asks, looking at her cousin.

"I just notice how when I'm in a relationship you're single and when you end up in a relationship I'm the single one." Sujin thought out loud.

Y/n lightly snickers at what Sujin said. "Let's just hope this one doesn't end up like the last one."

Sujin's face dropped at that.

"Which he won't." Y/n quickly said, reassuring the girl. "Sorry, shouldn't have said that." She pursed her lips, once again turning into her notebook.

Lunch

"Hey boys." Y/n greeted as she takes her seat next to Chan. "Well I see that her spot has been filled again. Welcome back Princess Kim." Hyunjin joked.

Y/n shot the boy a look, "What did I say about calling me that? You know I hate that."

"It's just so good to have you back again." He smiles. Her glare turned into a grin, "Yeah I'm happy I'm back too."

"Hey Y/n." Felix shyly greeted from across from her. She looks at the boy, "Hi." She says before eating her lunch.

Chan noticed some sort of awkward tension from the two but he didn't bring himself to talk about it.

"If I could ask, why doesn't Sujin eat with you guys too? I mean you two are always together, why isn't she here?" Felix asks, referring to Sujin and Y/n always being together.

The friends stopped at what they were doing and just froze at what Felix asked. Y/n and Jisung looks at each other for a second, then he started looking somewhere else.

No one spoke up so Hyunjin chose to speak for them. "She used to hang out with us but after what happened last year she just started to not like us." He frowned.

"Not particularly them but more of Han over here." Y/n added. Felix looks at the said boy and he just avoids his eye contact.

"What happened last year?" Felix asks.

Chan sighs. "Let's just start from the beginning. So there used to be just the four of us. Me, Jisung, Hyunjin, and another one but he graduated last year. I knew Y/n and Sujin since childhood and I met my friends in middle school so I sort of kept them separated. Then last year we all became one group of friends."

Chan continued. "Sujin ended up dating him and things were going well until he cheated on her."

"But that doesn't explain why she doesn't like Jisung." Felix furrowed his eyebrows.

"Han?" Y/n looks at the boy. Eyeing him, as if she was telling him to talk through her mind.

The boy gulped when making eye contact with a scary Y/n before looking at Felix. "I found out and instead of telling the group, especially Sujin, I decided to look out for my best friend and kept silent. Then weeks later when it finally came out, they found out that I had accidentally encouraged him to do it."

Jisung sighs, "After that she broke off all ties with us and just stopped talking to us, well mostly me."

"Wow. Okay now that explains it." Felix says. Hyunjin just nods as he agrees with him.

"Also I saw the papers thats been going around the school." He was awkwardly stabbing his food, not sure if he should've brought that up or not.

"It's not true." Chan quickly said. "Whatever you think happened, it didn't happen. I would never...ever do that to Y/n."

The table just got tense.

Y/n cleared her throat. "I think we should just leave that in the past. Let's just get past it and never bring it up again. Agreed?"

"Agreed." Hyunjin and Jisung said at once.

Felix followed a second later. He nodded, "Agreed."

Y/n turns her head to look at Chan. He was already looking back at her. "Agreed Chan?" He took a moment. He nods, "Agreed."

"Great. Now let us stop being so passive aggressive with each other and just become a group of friends again." Y/n smiles.

"Our peacemaker." Hyunjin chuckles. "Oh how great it is to have you back Y/n."

"You know what's also great?" Y/n started as she leans on the table with her arms folded. Looking at the boys with a grin. Knowing that they were waiting for her to speak, she paused for a moment.

"A party." She says.

"Well I got two words for you." Jisung said.

"Pool. Party."
