Thirty one

NEXT DAY

The Spot

It was just Hyunjin and Felix. Hyunjin laid lazily on the couch as he scrolled on his phone while Felix was playing on the game console.

"When are the others coming?" Felix asks, he didn't take his eyes off the screen. Hyunjin just shrugs.

With perfect timing, the elevator door dings signaling that people are here. The doors open to reveal Jisung and Minho.

Jisung confidently walks in. "Ah my favorite people are here and Felix is here too. Just kidding. Glad to see you here buddy." He chuckles and as he turns to grab a snack from the table, he lets go of the smile and rolls his eyes.

Minho and Hyunjin give each other a quick look after what Jisung said and also hid their laughter underneath their smile.

He turns back and immediately puts that smile back on his face. He opens the snack and starts eating it.

Jisung gives some type of signal to Hyunjin and he notices it. "So Felix." He turns to the boy.

Felix turns the games off and looks at the group. "Yeah?"

Hyunjin shrugs. "How's things going with Y/n? We haven't heard much update in a while."

Felix was caught off guard. "Huh? Oh uh you know...well. It's been good." He awkwardly showed a smile on his face.

"Interesting." Jisung mutters. Before he could speak up and ask Felix a question, the elevator ringed again, the doors open.

Chan had a look to kill on his face as he walks in. Jisung steps out to face him. "Ah Chan we were just talking ahout-.."

Chan punched Jisung in the face. Jisung stumbled back, backing into Minho. "You kissed her?! You actually kissed her?!" Chan confronts him.

Jisung lets out a chuckle as he checks the blood that is now flowing down from his nose. "She finally told you huh?"

"Shit shit shit." Hyunjin panics as he takes out his phone, calling Y/n. He tells her to come right away.

If Chan wasn't already heated, after what Jisung said next really ticked him off.

Jisung manages to stand himself up straight. "And for the record, she. kissed. me." He slowed down that last part and watched as Chan's face got even more red from anger.

"That's it. I'm gonna give you exactly what you need after all these years." Chan charges forward but Minho stands between the two before Chan could reach Jisung.

"Woah woah don't you guys remember one of the rules? We promised to not get into physical fights with each other." Minho held his arms out to keep the two apart.

"Oh come on Minho. Don't tell me you didn't want to punch that face of his over and over after what he did to you?" Chan nods over to Jisung.

Between all this chaos, Felix stood on the side completely lost at what was happening. This new scene was not what he expected to see. Everything was just fine then suddenly it all just explodes.

Chan manages to swing over Minho to grab Jisung by his shirt.

Everyone but Felix was shouting. Minho and Hyunjin tried to break up the fight. Then the elevator, once again, dings.

Y/n runs out. "Woah woah woah. Hey!" She shouts. Chan pushes back Jisung and turns towards Y/n. "Well isn't it the princess of the hour." He sarcastically said.

"What? Came to save the day? Putting on that fake innocent princess shit." Jisung starts.

Y/n glares at him. "Watch it. I could let you guys continue but after I say this."

"What could you possibly say?" Jisung crosses his arms. Y/n smirks. "That your 'cheating scheme' wasn't a one-time thing. You planned that whole cheating scandal between Chan and I so that we would break up."

Jisung's eyes widens. "How'd you find out?" Minho looks at him. "Jisung how could you? You said you didn't know anything about that."

"I- well-." Jisung was short on words. He didn't expect is secret to be exposed like that.

In the second of silence, Felix finally speaks up. "What is going on?" Then something snapped in Jisung. "Do you wanna know why I did it?" He looks around the room then at Y/n as he continues to speak to the whole room.

"It was because I became obsessed with Y/n. After the night she kissed me, I've been wanting her to myself." Jisung looks at Chan for his reaction. He was clenching his teeth.

Felix steps up. "Wait, what? I thought only Chan and Y/n has dated in the past."

Jisung scoffs, looking Felix up and down. "You think you like her, you barely know the person she is. Not only did she date Chan but before they got together Y/n didn't know whether he liked her or not so instead of talking to him she kissed me. Oh did she tell you-.."

"Jisung stop." Y/n sternly says, cutting him off before he could continue. Her throat sounded course. Tears were building up in her eyes, threatening to fall.

He looks at her. "But it's only fair. If Felix wants to be a part of this little group, don't you think he should know what we all did? Especially you since he's so interested in you."

"Jisung." Her voice croaks.

But he ignores her and turns back to Felix. Y/n didn't do anything, she was in shock, unable to move. The others just listened to what Jisung was saying. Because it was another one of their rules. No one can intercept the other's scheme and this was clearly another one of Jisung's scheme.

"Did she tell you how after their first break up and let me tell you there were plenty of times, that she hooked up with Minho. Who I remind you had just broken up with Sujin, her cousin." Jisung puts on a smile.

Minho sighs. "We all agreed to not bring that up again."

Jisung holds up his point finger. "He should know everything and don't interrupt me again."

"Oh and there was a time where she humiliated herself at one of her father's business event where she got drunk and fell into the pool, taking an important businessman down with her. Then there's that professor she got fired after the class president caught them being 'close' if you know what I mean...Ooh I almost forgot, there was this exchange student."

"Okay that's enough." Chan speaks but Jisung puts up his finger, continuing to speak to Felix.

"There was this exchange student, nice kid kinda like you and he also showed interest in Y/n after the whole 'innocent' act she pulls all the time. Then he got all caught up in our shit and he just couldn't handle all of it. He was such a nice kid, wonder what ever happened to him?" He shrugs, looking at the group.

"Okay you've taken it way too far." Hyunjin speaks with his arms crossed. Jisung was taken aback. "What? That was too much, not the whole student-teacher thing?"

"Okay." Minho steps up. "Okay I think we all heard enough."

"You should leave." Y/n looks disassociated. She looks to the ground as she says that.

"Yeah Jisung maybe-.." Minho starts but Y/n cuts him off. "No. Felix. You should leave." She looks up at him with red eyes, tears streaming down her face.

Felix was too stunned, too in shock. "Y/n." His voice was soft.

"Leave!" Y/n's voice got louder. Felix didn't fight her on it. Something in him was telling him to not go but he did. He saw how bad she looked right now and he wanted to comfort her but after what he just heard he didn't know how to feel. He told himself that maybe it was best to leave, to process everything, give himself some time to think all this through before speaking to Y/n.

He rushed through the room and quickly went down in the elevator.

The room fell silent.
