Seline's breakfast for the morning? A scolding from Alana. She did something idiotic and risky, 'I definitely deserve this.' She thought of it through her groggy mind. "Do you know anything? Any repercussions that might have happened if you had been caught?" Alana almost yelled.
Oscar winced from Alana's voice. "Calm your tits. I was with her to supervise!" The obviously hungover Oscar groaned while rubbing his forehead with his thumb from his injured hand. "Well clearly you both are idiots!" Alana sat down on the dining chair. Oscar sighed then drank tea.
Seline grimaced as she looked at the two adults in front of her. She knows it was stupid but it had been weeks since she's seen her best friend and sister. The girl missed her loved-ones and she was being careful. "I told you to take care of her! Teach her how to fight since she'll be needing it! Somehow, you took that as a sign to snoop around?" Alana told Oscar.
"Look, she is homesick! I let her go because training was going well for her." Oscar reasoned,
"Do you know what would happen if we got caught?" Alana yelled this time, obviously angered. Seline couldn't take it anymore, "Alana, I'm sorry, It was stupid and-"
"You're damn right!" Alana stressed.
"I was just homesick, I really was careful! I knew my surroundings. Jessica and Melody won't know!" The teen reassured the older woman.

What had actually happened...
"Doing good, Seline." Oscar said. Seline couldn't believe her progress either. This had been the first time she's actually seeing in the dark and she could run, fully feel her surroundings-see her surroundings.
Everything was going well until...
WACK!
Seline's vision was lost when she hit a tree, causing her to topple down again. She could hear Oscar wince, as if feeling her pain. The older man helped her up. "Are you okay? You're not bleeding and stuff." Oscar asked, the teen just nodded. "Maybe we should take a break." Oscar suggested and Seline, still a little dizzy, agreed.
The two sat down on a fallen tree bark, "Are you sure you're okay? We can always call Alana and help you with that." Oscar double-checked, "I'm fine really." Seline managed to say. She was still partially not okay, she didn't want to bother Alana while the older woman was away to help crops grow and forests stay in shape.
"How long will Alana be away again?" She asks to avoid silence. "She said in three days she'd come back." Oscar asked, Seline nodded understanding. "Does every champion have night vision?" She asked to keep the conversation going. "Oh no, only a few of us do. Depends on the deity that chooses you, honestly." Oscar answered, he explained that he had it because he was the sun god's champion so of course he can see even in the dark.
Alana could "see" because of the nature that surrounds her, so maybe through the eyes of animals or a gust of wind-mostly it varies for the older woman. And of course Seline had that requirement because she needed to camouflage in the dark, manipulate and create shadows, and other things that required being in the dark and doing magic.
Seline could feel her night vision comeback throughout their conversation. "If you don't mind me asking you, how old are you?" Oscar asked all of a sudden. Seline looked at him, then laughed. "I was just asking!" Oscar looked embarrassed. Seline tried to stop laughing to respond but couldn't so she ended up replying in between laughs, "You have been flirting with me and calling me all kinds of nicknames for weeks now, and you don't know how old I am?"
Oscar looked scared all of a sudden, "Are you a minor?" Seline swore she heard him shriek. Seline huffed, attempting to stop laughing, "No! I'm eighteen, don't worry." Oscar was slightly relieved but it was clear he felt uncomfortable, "Yeah... still feels wrong." Seline tilted her head, raising a brow, "Why? How old are you?" Oscar went silent. It was evident that he was terrified all of a sudden.
