*Song for this chapter: If You Could Read My Mind by Gordon Lightfoot*
"Jeffrey, I really want to do a stage dive. How sick would it be to do one back home?"
"I mean... I don't think it's out of the question but I'm not really advising you to do it either..." Jeff was standing by the door of the greenroom that everyone was hanging out in after soundcheck. Harry had been talking about doing a stage dive for the last few months and I think he really was going to work up to one soon. Clare, Sarah, Mitch and I were playing cards at the table and Harry came over to sit in my lap. He was helping me because I was terrible at cards other than Uno and I actually won the round he helped me with.
"That's not fair. Jana had help!" Sarah scrunched her face and Mitch laughed.
"What's that?" Harry nodded his head in the direction of a new journal sitting on top of my bag.
"It's a journal." I said flatly.
"I know... what are you using it for?" He reached for it and I didn't stop him because nothing was in it yet. It was a light pink faux leather journal. It was 5x8" with an elastic strap to keep it closed. He opened it, like I knew he would and flipped through the pages. "It's brand new?"
"It's also none of your business." He covered his heart with his hand and looked like I'd just told him a puppy died as I took the notebook back from him. "It's something I decided to start doing this morning."

Harry Styles Album Release – New York City
Hare, I've never experienced anything like this event. Everyone had to surrender their phones before they even entered the building. Jeffrey even made me put my phone in the lockbox back in the greenroom. Please, when have I ever pulled my phone out at any of your shows over the last four years? Right, not once. Anyway. I liked this show because I got to sing and dance with the rest of the fans, well, kind of... you did a great job and the fans were phenomenal. Highlight of the show: Kiwi. Low point: I don't think I really need to immortalize it, but... SD.
You were nervous tonight, but I was so proud of you. Seriously. I can't wait to see you with even bigger crowds. Tomorrow, you're playing the Garage and I'm so excited because Gemma is going to be there, so I won't be alone. It's also my first time there. You told me that you're really nervous because it is the first public concert you're doing, and it feels even bigger because its home. God, you are like a cat, you pop up every time I try to write in this. Also, I'll figure out a better structure and what I want to remember and what I think you might want to remember as we get deeper into the tour.
"Will you tell me what it is now? I know it's something for me because you put it away every time I come around." Harry sat next to me on the plane and tapped the journal. It was killing him that I had a secret.
