*Song for this chapter: Lovely Day by Bill Withers*

"What is that thing that you write in all the time? Is it your diary?"

Jake was sitting next to me on the plane. We had gone on the gondola ride last night and it was beautiful. He'd arranged a little picnic and the boat was lit with fairy lights with several blankets. The city just looked stunning. It really was romantic. He was a little upset that he didn't know when my actual birthday was, but I don't really tell people so I hadn't even thought about telling him. I usually just say its April, and now with the family doing a month-long birthday thing, it works. We are having breakfast together tomorrow because Harry has something planned for me, but I think this new approach to spending time together is already doing wonders for the relationship. I'm less irritable towards him.

"It is sort of a diary. More of a moment keeper."

"Is that what all the pictures are for from the shows?" He peered over but I hadn't started writing yet, so the page was blank. I started putting the pictures on the back of the page just before the new entry. "Are there pictures of me?"

Why is everyone so interested in what I write in these damn things? "It's mainly just pictures of the show, fans, and backstage. Whatever catches my eye and sticks out as something that should be remembered." I closed it and turned my head to look at him. He was leaning over against me, his head resting on my shoulder. "Are you comfortable? We can shift the seats so you can rest more comfortably." He was so much taller than I was that he was bent in an odd position.

He grumbled like a little kid and wriggled in the seat until he was more level and comfortable. "No, this is perfect." He grinned with his head in my lap, his torso in his seat and his lower half stretched across to the seat opposite us. I just grinned and shook my head. All the guys in my life love to snuggle and sometimes, you just need a break from someone touching you. The flight isn't that long and I don't mind it. It didn't take him long to fall asleep and it always amazed me the incredibly awkward positions this large man could fall asleep in.

You were on another level. I know I've used that phrase before, but tonight was truly unlike anything I've seen before. Before the show you were in such a great mood. Maybe it is the suit you're wearing? Lilac and gold? It's weird if I ask to borrow it... right? When you said "My name is Harry, I wish I was Italian" I spit out the water I was drinking. Also, you CANNOT tell me happy birthday every show... "You're not 30... there's no way." I snuck into the pit again. You told me before the show that you liked trying to find me, so now it's a game. What song do I come out at and how long do I stay in one place? It's hard to say. I truly can't get over how much fun you had on stage tonight. The fans in the pit were so engaged and you truly enjoyed interacting with them. I also feel really weird talking about how loose you're starting to get with Kiwi and Medicine... Kiwi is a given, but Medicine... it's so good. I think you snuck in and read the last entry about you talking to your fans about being quiet during Sweet Creature. There was less chatter. I was also in the section you were facing this time though. I've decided during the B stage set, I'm going to find a space to sit down, because it almost feels like when we used to sit together at the house, and you'd play me songs until I figured out what they were. It was such a small part of the night, but it is tied with the next one I'm writing down... my favorite part is when you took the flags and started clapping with them. It was just such a you moment. All I'm going to write for this next favorite moment is... Odella? Hotella? Nutella?.... The fan project tonight was absolutely stunning. I'm getting chills just remembering it. I think another game I want to play is to find the loudest fan at each show. I'm always amazed at them. OH! I almost missed it because I was heading backstage again, but I loved when they started singing Isn't He Lovely? This was a lot of fun, I don't know where it ranks.. I think I stopped trying to rank them because they're all good. PS, look at the hair post show... I'm here for it.
