It was a chilling morning, as I made my way towards the cave where Snow and his men were mining the Dragonglass. Its been a couple of days since the decision and with Davos smuggling Tyrion into Kingslanding, I was bored in the castle and decided to go explore. I was told, by my dragon, that it was one of the two ways we could firmly kill the dead. So while she went to tell Snow that it was ok to mine the glass, I went down and mined myself a good tiny dagger and added it to my collection of daggers. Though, this time I was curious about what was deeper in the cave. After all this entire landmark has been here for thousands and thousands of years, even before Aegon came to Westeros. Thousands of history is just begging me to just uncover their secrets.
Walking towards the cave the sight of Snows men comes out, causing me to quickly take cover against the black rocks. Peaking over to see them walk back towards the harbor where my ships were docked, probably wanting a drink break. Coming out of my spot I walk into the empty cave, gazing at the pitch black stone in awe. Even though this is my second time coming down here, it never ceases to amaze how beautiful and strong the stone is. Grabbing a torch from its hold, I use it to light my way as I go deeper into the cave.
Admiring the strong stone I run my hand along the cold walls, letting it trace every crack, every nook, every rock. Before something, other than rock reached my fingers, something smooth. Bringing the torch closer, I see the shine of a Dragonglass shard, before lifting the torch up to see the entire cave riddled with it. Shimmering like Diamonds, making me want to grab a few more pieces.
Walking deeper into the cave, It started to get a bit cramped. I groan as I feel pointy yet dull rocks against my clothes, as I try to get through the narrow gap. Finally reaching the open I see all of the carvings of what Snow told me were made from the "children of the woods" which doesn't make sense since this is no place for children. Looking at all of the carvings, I feel my heart sink as I look at one of the monsters from my dream. Those same blue eyes flash before my eyes, making me grab my head in pain. My visions and dreams of my Dragons frozen like face and my dagger in her heart flash in my head. I sat there crouched, waiting for the pain and the visions to leave me for what seemed like an hour or two, I suddenly heard the sounds of chains rattling echoing throughout the cave distracting me from the pain.
Walking towards the sound, I see another gap that I could somewhat fit in. Internally groaning, I took a breath and squeezed through the gap. Trying my best to suck in my stomach to fit, but my breasts were making it a little difficult. Stupid C cups. Finally getting through the gap, I gasped at the sight before me.
A skeleton in ancient silver armor, bound by chains from their neck, hands, and ankles. Walking closer, I see a dark black medallion of a wolves head with its jaw open as if it was growling, along with its red ruby eyes. As I got closer the medallion began to vibrate, causing then entire skeleton to shake before crumbling to the floor in pieces. I wince at the sight before walking closer to the now pile of bones.
A small shine of what seems to be pure silver shines in my eyes, causing me to squint. Confused, I stick my torch into a gap between two rocks and kneel down to the bones. Pushing away the pile of bones, I see two swords in their scabbards itching for me to pull them out. Picking the pair up from the pile, I inspect the first one with two feline heads at the pommel facing away from each other. With four flawless blue diamonds acting as their eyes, and the guard angled downward which was odd for a sword. I marveled at the craft before grabbing the sword from grip and pulled it out of its sheath.
The sword made a beautiful and satisfying ring as the blade rubbed against the lining on the inside. With the whole blade out, I bring it closer to the flames light and marveled at the craft and beauty of the blade. It was pure silver, with strange markings running up the blade before stopping before the point. As I run my fingers gently along the edge of the blade, I hiss as it nicked my finger my blood running down the blade. Even after all these years it was still sharp, I watch my blood flow down the blade and into the markings which caused them to glow a bright white. As if the blade was alive, my blood sizzled and evaporated off of the blade, leaving no trace behind.
