Chapter 14

Sidney's Point of View

I was busy preparing some snacks for my son and Caleb. I'm almost done with the fruit platter at kanina ko pa din tapos ibaked ang blueberry cheesecake. It's only nine in the morning and I was surprised because Caleb was here.

05:39 pa lang ng umaga ay nandito na siya. Naalimpungatan ako so I decided to go to the kitchen para uminom ng tubig at mag handa na rin ng almusal. I almost got a heart attack when I found Caleb at the kitchen. And he's cooking some breakfast. Marami man ang nag bago sa loob ng tatlong taon, hindi parin nababago kay Caleb ang pagiging healthy eater niya. And that's the reason why I prepared some fruit platter. Inilagay ko na sa tray ang ilang mga platito at tinidor kasama ang cheesecake at fruit platter na ginawa ko.

Dinala ko yon sa deck na katabi ng swimming pool kung saan masayang nag suswimming ang mag ama. One our maids also helped me. I found Caleb teaching our son how to swim and Sandler just keeps on giggling.

" Boys have a break muna. I prepared something. Mag merienda muna kayo. " I said while putting the plates and forks at the table.

" Look baby, Mommy prepared something for us. Are you hungry? " Sandler only nodded. Binuhat na niya ito para maka-ahon sa tubig. My son immediately run at my direction to have some cake.

" Woooow! " My son excitedly said while his eyes are wide. I smiled and added some sliced cakes in his cute and colorful plate. Mabilis na umupo ito sa maliit na sofa while I just leaned down first.

" But! You also need to eat some fruits okay? " At tumango naman ito. Marunong na din naman ito kumain pero kailangan mo parin alalayan.

I stood up and looked back para yayain na din kumain si Caleb. But I didn't expect him wearing only his swimming trunks. Kasalukuyan nitong tinutuyo ng towel ang buhok niya habang papalapit dito. Everything was like a slow motion that I can even see the water drops from his hair. He was still sexy like before.

Oh! Let me just rephrase that. More sexy than before. His six packs abs was still there. His chest and shoulder are more broader than the last time I saw them. My cheeks flamed again like a teenager. And I can't stop myself to admire his hot body. I realized that he's smiling naughtily at me and I panicked. Patay malisya akong bumalik sa anak ko para asikasuhin. I took the pitcher of watermelon juice at nag salin sa baso. Syaka ko ito iniabot sa anak ko. Damn! He just saw me staring at his body. Bigla akong pinag pawisan sa init nya. Ohh I mean sa panahon.

" You're sweating. " My heart almost jumped out of my chest when I realized he's already at my back. Natigilan akong nakahawak sa isang empty plate and his hands grabbed it from me. Naramdaman ko pa ang medyo malamig at basa niyang kamay.

Nag lagay siya ng kaunting fruits sa plato niya and I don't know why I am watching him. I saw him suck in the tiny kiwi fruit using his hand. And I bit my lip. How can he be so hot while eating? Nahirapan yata akong huminga. He even rubbed his lower lip then sucked his thumb na para bang sarap na sarap. At huli na para iiwas ko ang tingin sa kanya. 'Cause he's also staring at me.

" M-Mainit eh. You know.. I-It's still summer. " And he chuckled sexily. Saglit kong nakalimutan ang anak ko. Mabuti na lang at nakita kong tinutulungan siyang kumain ng yaya niya.

" I guess you need to take some deep. " Napakunot noo ako and I was still on the process of sinking in what he just said. His right arm was already around my waist and it was too late to protest.

Napatili ako ng malakas when we both jumped at the swimming pool. At dahil sa gulat ko kaya napayakap ako sa kanya nung lumutang kami pareho. All of them are laughing, especially my son. I just found myself tangled around his neck and slowly felt his both hands caressing the curve of my waist. Unti unting humina ang tawa niya until his smiles totally disappears.
