Margaux POV

Caleb and I are having lunch with Mommy Eunice right now. Two weeks na din siya dito sa Pilipinas pero ngayon lang kami nakapag lunch out together. Caleb is having a very hectic schedule this past few weeks.

"Hindi pa ba ako mag kakaroon ng apo? I'm really excited. Dalawang taon na din kayong kasal."

Ngumiti ako ng matipid. She doesn't know about my situation. Hindi na rin ako nakakabalik sa OB ko at nakakalimutan ko na mag pa check-up. I held my husbands's hand.

"We're working on it Tita. Your son is just too busy. Actually he's planning to have our second honeymoon, siguro pag naayos na ang schedule ni Caleb."

It's my decision not to tell my situation to his Mom. Ayoko din kasi na ma- disappoint ko siya.

"I told her to stop working at maging housewife na lang. So that she can only focus to me. Ineenjoy muna kasi namin ang oras namin being a husband and wife."

But her mom doesn't seem to be satisfied with our excuses. Hirap na nga ko mabuntis nawawalan pa ng oras sa akin ang asawa ko. I'm starting to get worried. Hindi naman siya ganyan before.

"But I think two years is already enough. I'm getting old. Sige kayo pag tinagalan niyo pa baka hindi ko na kayang alagaan ang apo ko."

The three of us giggled. If Uncle Craig was still here, I'm sure that he'll be more happy. Everything is just so perfect, Me and Caleb plus his Mom. Sana lang talaga dumating na yung baby namin na mas mag paligaya at kukumpleto sa buhay ko.

"I'm sure that it wont take too long. I was even more excited to be a mother. Most especially your son, right Caleb?"

I looked at my husband and found him busy with his phone. May ka-text yata. I held his arm and lightly squeezed it. Napag usapan na namin to. That he should stopped thinking about work while having this lunch. Parang bumalik ito sa katinuan at tarantang humarap ulit sa Mommy niya.

"Y-Yes. I want to have my own small version. So kailangan ko pang mas sipagan sa work para matapos ko na ang project. Then we can have our second honeymoon."

He continued eating. I secretly rolled my eyes. I told him to stopped talking about work. Kahit okay lang kay Mom ang ginagawa ng anak niya, still I want him to focus more on his family. Most especially now na mag isa na lang si Mommy Eunice because his Dad was gone.
