**~ Hello my hot delicious cookies! You've come to read chapter 2! Thank you kindly! :)~**

I sprang up out of my bed the net morning. 6:30 am, the clock read. I grabbed a blazer and a pleaded skirt. Next I picked out a white shirt. I then curled each and every piece of my hair. Leaving my head a beautiful garden of small ringlets. It was about 7 now, which means I needed to get downstairs.

"Jaclyn! I'm here to take you to school!" I heard a familiar voice call. My mom was here to take me to school. She was still like 30 minutes early. But I didn't really mind. As long as I could just see her and talk to her. I danced down stairs with my Vera Bradley book bag upon my shoulder.

"You know, we leave at 7:30. Not 7." I said coming down the spiral staircase.

"Well maybe I wanted to talk to you, I didn't see you all summer."

That was true. I stayed down in Florida all summer in my Dads house down there. My Dad has one house in Florida, one in Virginia, California, and this one in New York. Mom does live up here in upper New York. It's not like I hate my mom, I love her. We have a close relationship. But we certainly have our ups and downs. It's my who I don't have a good relationship with.

"How was Virginia?"

"Florida this time, Mom." I said while munching on an apple.

"Right, right."

"Yea it was fun. Nice weather."

"Meet any guys?"

"Uh no. Not this time." She always wanted me to have a boyfriend, too.

"Hows your father?"

"I would barely know. He's never here..." If you haven't realized, my parents are divorced. Pretty common for rich guys like my dad. It was 7:30 by the time we finished our detailed conversation.

"Lets get going." I said. We both locked up and headed out. Moms Cadillac waited for us in the driveway. The ride to school was very short.

"We're here." She pecked me on the cheek and I got out of the car.

A large sign read, "Welcome students! Happy first day of school!" I sighed and headed towards the entrance. Tons of people (students) greeted me. Soon I found Marcia among the rolling crowds.

"Girl! We're officially seniors!" We gave each other big hugs. And yes, we are officially seniors!

****Haha okay so that wasn't the twist yet! But just hold on! :)***
