Chapter 3 baby!!! :D
12 dreary years of middle school, junior high, and primary schooling. This day will be marking my 13th year of school! My senior year. Of course, I still had college to look forward to. But I wasn't going to worry about that now. College should be just parties and stuff. So we were seniors, simple as that.
"Good morning New York Ridge Academy seniors!" A large roar filled the gymnasium. I hadn't even realized that we were already in here. Only seniors were allowed in the Welcome Back pep rally. I really wouldn't consider it a pep rally. Because people just conversed, and got to know everyone. Most of us had been together since primary school, but there were always new kids.
"Now everyone go and reunite and get to know the new students!" Me and Marcia searched the crowd for interesting students. Same old, same old. The jocks stayed together. The cliques pushed to their 'own' corner of the gym. A few girls came up to me and Marcia to compliment us.
"Wow! You guys look great!" A newbie said.
"I missed you two!" Some girl said, hugging us. We had no clue who she was though...
Now it was the time. Every year we did this. We would search the crowd for boys. Maybe boys that had 'changed' over the summer, or new ones. Perhaps we would find the lucky guy through this method.
"Anyone?" My best friend said.
"Umm, nope." We kept looking for a while and had no luck. We sighed and moved on to our first period. Well, I moved on. Us two never had the same class together. My first period was Chemistry. How ironic, there's no chemistry in my life.
"Hello class. Now were going to have a good start this year, right?" Everyone nodded half-heartedly. I took my place next to Alexandra. She was a okay person. Maybe we could be better friends this year. Marcia is a great person and all, but I'm kinda sick of her. I just want a few new friends, something new.
"Hey Alex." We all call her Alex, it's much easier then Alexandra.
"Hi! How was your summer?"
"Oh good. Spent it in Florida." I wasn't worried about anyone getting jealous about my money. Because pretty much everyone here is stinking rich. Some richer then me. I actually think Bill Gates niece goes here.
"Cool. I went down to Texas."
"Alex, do you wanna hang sometime?" I had no clue why I just said that. It kinda spilled out. That must have been so awkward for her. But she seemed pretty cool.
"Yea. Yea, that would be fun!" She said enthusiastically. So maybe making more friends is simpler then I thought.
Mrs. Halo (Our Chemistry teacher) continued talking about what we were going to learn this year. Blah, blah, blah, e equals m c squared, whatever. Then, I saw him. A kid who I have never seen before. My eyes almost popped out my head. I think I actually whispered 'dibs' under my breath. Seriously, Ive got this boy. And woah, this boy was hot.
**Sorry this is so short! I wanted to end it like this! Please, tell some of your fans and followers or whatever. I just really want readers! :(***
