Chapter 9
***Hey! You guys should check out MariaCatherineStewart (no spaces)! She is one of my real life best friends and she is a fabulous writer! It would mean so much to me! Anyways...here is chapter 9 of Something Of A love Story. My books are usually only 10-12 chapters long but this one will be a little longer.
****Does anyone have an idea for a new book??!! I already have my two other ones finished...so that means a new story! Yay!!***Comment!
I sat in my room and switched on Jersey Shore. Nothing could take away pain better then guidos. James. Why him? Why not...me? Not like I wanted to kill myself. But he was only 13. I know I'm only 18 but he probably never got to do anything with his short time on earth. James probably never got a girlfriend...well I wouldn't know since me and Mar don't talk.
Apparently James' funeral wouldn't be for two or three weeks. I didn't know or even ask why. After I was done grieving I went downstairs.
"Want a smoothie Hun?" My dad said from the kitchen.
"Yes please!" I thought my dad was talking to me. They hadn't relized I came downstairs. I zipped around a corner so I could spy on them. Why in the world would my dad call my mom "Hun"?
"Do you wanna stay the night..?" My mom asked with her arms around dad. Whoa. What was going on.
"Yes!"
"In my room?" She asked. I couldn't take it anymore!
"Whats going on?" I said leaping out from behind a corner.
"Oh nothing." My mom said. Then she quickly released my dad. She dashed off into the kitchens bathroom nearby.
"Smoothie?" My dad said blushing. I rolled my eyes. The rest of the weekend went by fast. I couldn't wait for Monday. I could finally talk to Daimion again.
"Are you nervous?" Mia asked before we went into the cafeteria. She wore a long maxi style dress. Alex was decked out in purple from head to toe. Why? No idea. But she is alex, after all.
"Kinda. Oh wait! There he is!!" I said. He was striding towards the double doors. I caught him in his tracks.
"Just the girl I was looking for." He said when I came up to him.
"Really? I mean,uh, yeah. You too." What?!! He was the girl I was looking for!? That doesn't even make sense. Agh!
"I have a quick question." He said. Then Daimion stopped right before we were going to sit down. I just nodded. Maybe I should just keep quiet.
"Do you wanna go out tonight?" He managed to say. It looked like he was struggling to say that. I was so freaked out I instantly sat down in the first chair that caught my eye.
"Yes! That sounds awesome! Yes!" I couldn't contain my excitement. Daimion West did not just ask me out. Haha yes, he did!
"Ah good. I mean, cool!?" Was this boy nervous of me? Just little Jaclyn. With the brown wavy hair and the rich dad. The girl who was Marcia Jones's best friend/ follower. Or maybe to him I was this hot girl who he has had his eyes on for a while. Don't imagine things so much, a voice said in my head. But whatever! I was on cloud nine!
"Do you wanna meet somewhere?" I offered to have a driver take us; but he denied.
"I was thinking, Big Boys." Okay. That's like a burger place right?
"Awesome. Is six good?" He nodded. We exchanged numbers and then he left.
I danced back out of the lunch room ever so confident. Wow. Was I lucky; or was I lucky?
"Well..."Alex said.
All I did was hold up his number and nodded excitedly.
**Okay so PLEASE comment ANY ideas for a new story! Thanks!***
