Chapter 20!
*We have come a very long way! Its already 20! Thanks for all the support!*
I had literally the best sleep in years. A few of my troubles were instantly gone. Well, not really. I still had to sort them all out today. But at least I finally made some progress in my life.
"Wake up! It's Christmas! Santa was here! Santa was here!" My dad yelled parading into my room. It was about 9.
" Really Dad?" I said annoyed. I threw a pillow over my head.
"What? Ya don't want the ton of presents downstairs!" I guess Christmas never changes around here, even when worse comes to worst. My dad always seemed to go all out on Christmas gifts. So I reluctantly followed my excited father downstairs. What to my wondering eyes should appear, but a village of presents not eight tiny rain deer! Mountains of boxes from my favorite stores. A very large wrapped item sat under our Christmas tree, too. And I could have sworn it was slightly moving.
"Open that one first!" He said. He pointed at it. I crawled over to the now affirmatively shaking box. I tenderly peeled open the gift. At first I saw nothing but a cage. Why would my dad buy me just a cage? But then I saw it. A small, fury creature resting in the corner of the cage. It had brown spots covering it's teeny body. I could not see it's head, for it was curled up, sleeping soundly.
"Do you like it?"
"Of course! It's the cutest little baby I've ever seen!" I never really considered getting a dog. But now I would never second guess having one!
"What are you going to name it?"
"Baby!" I said. It had a ring to it. Baby. I carefully picked it out of the cage and swaddled it in my arms.
"What kind is it?"
"A *chiwawa, I think." I thanked my dad over and over. Then I continued opening all my Presents. I got clothes mainly. And the rest was dog supplies. Little tiny doggie clothes, a food and water bowls, and lots of cute toys.
"Sorry I didn't get you anything dad. I just, ya know. With everything..."
"No, no. I don't want anything. It's fine. I only wanted you back." Then our father/daughter intimate moment was disturbed by a knock at the door. Oh, no. I totally let it slip my mind. I told Daimion to come over last night. Oh no no no! But all I knew right there was that I made a mistake. A big, huge, stupid mistake.
*Im stupid and I can't spell chiwawa..
*Hope you enjoyed! I will be posted the next chapter very soon!*
