Chapter 6!

The 20 minute period we spent together went by so fast. I tried to learn everything I could about him. Daimion West was his full name. For some weird reason his parents didn't give him a middle name. But I didn't bother to keep asking why.

He didn't want to talk about his family or home at all. He refused to tell me where he lived. Not even an idea of where he lived. I wondered why he went to this school anyways. He told me that he didn't like it here because it was "different" from the usual. What was the usual? I didn't know; and I didn't know if he did either.

"So this being your first year and all-"

"Oh no, I've been here since We were freshman." I blushed.

"Reallly? Because Ive never seen you here." Have I really failed to notice his presence door four years??!

"Yeah. I've seen you here. Always with that Marcia girl. But now your not, what happened?"

"We kinda faded away from each other. Not that much in common." I shrugged causally. Us not being friends anymore didn't really seem like a big deal.

He would shake his scruffy hair once in a while. Daimion only nibbled on a whole grain bar. I offered to buy him something else but he refused. Maybe he was trying to gain muscle. Even though I was pretty sure he already had a six pack.

"It was nice having lunch with you. So ill see you around." And then he dashed off into the crowds of people. Alex and Mia rushed towards me as i exited the cafeteria.

"Well??.." They said.

"Good. Real good!" That was all I could muster out. We laughed and then walked off to our individual classes. The day came to a quick close. Alex invited us over after school to sleep over. Wow, it wasn't as hard to get friends as i thought.
