~1 Year Later~
Harry's POV
"I really like this demo," I smile at the young boys in front of me. "I'll need to double check with my boss, but I think you guys could really be something big. Four average boys, from a small town in Australia, it's fresh and original. I like it a lot."
"Thanks," one of them, Ashton, smiles.
"I'll let you know about a contract as soon as possible." I shake all four of their hands, showing them out.
I had gotten a job at a music producing company. My ability to negotiate helped me get artists to sign contracts and make great deals. LA was everything I dreamed it would be. The weather was beautiful, you weren't being judged, and no one pushed you to be perfect.
At 27 years old, a music career wasn't something I wanted to pursue anymore, but I did find a way to get into the industry. I have never been happier. Finally getting to do for myself, was exactly what I needed.
I took the year off from relationships, but sooner or later, I'd be ready to get back on the markets. I had made many new friends here in California, but that didn't stop me from calling Niall and Louis every once in a while. Niall was getting married, and Louis had finally found a girlfriend. I was happy for them, and they were happy for me.
I went off on my lunch break, shortly after meeting with the Australian band.
"I'm telling you, these kids could sell out arenas," I say, while eating lunch with my friend Jeff.
"You'll have to show me their demo. I'm going out tonight and want you to meet someone. I think you'll like her. She's a sweet girl, that just moved here from Chicago. Right up your alley."
"I don't know," I shake my head, taking a swig of beer.
"Come on, Harry. You need to get back out there, or you'll spend the rest of your life alone. The least you can do is come, make petty conversation, see what you have in common, and maybe give you guys a shot."
"Okay," I agree. "I'll come meet her. It's about time I get back out there."
"That's the spirit my good British friend," Jeff cheers. I shake my head laughing at his immaturity. Life was going pretty good for me.

Eden's POV
"How may I help you?"
"I'm Eden Armstrong, and I'm here to see detective Davis."
"Alright. Please have a seat, and he'll be with you in a moment."
I sit patiently, tapping my foot waiting to meet with the detective.
"Miss Armstrong? You can go back now." I mentally cheer, as I grab my bag, going back into the room.
"You must be Eden," detective Davis says.
"That's me."
"So, how can I help you?"
"I'm interested in locating my birth parents."
"Alright. Do you mind me asking some questions?"
"No, not at all," I shake my head.
"Okay. So, when was the last time you saw your parents?"
"I was put up for adoption, when I was born. My mom was a teen."
"Where were you born?"
"America." He nods, taking notes.
"How old are you now?"
"Twenty three."
"Do you know your parents' names?"
"Um yeah," I nod, "Carol Kennedy and Robert Armstrong."
He types into the computer.
"Okay. I will work to try and locate them for you," he smiles. "Please fill this out to confirm the investigation."
I fill out the form, then hand it back to him.
"We'll try our hardest to locate your parents. It's in your best interest to not get your hopes up high. It's difficult locating people, but I promise we will do everything we can."
"Thank you," I smile, giving the detective a hug.
I got a job as a counselor, for kids who were just like me. I enjoyed helping them in ways I wasn't, when I was younger. Spending time, with the kids made me realize, that I wanted to try and find my birth parents.
Hopefully, they aren't jerks, because I would really like to get to know them, and have them be apart of my life.
I still lived in London, and had been in a strong relationship for the last six months, with a guy named Stephen. I wasn't sure I loved him yet, but strong feelings were definitely there.
Everything was not exactly the way I planned for it to be, but I was happy with the life I live at this moment in time. In the end, that was all that ever truly mattered to me.
