Episode Two:

I sent a direct message to Miss Abs on WhatsApp when I perceived that she would be an amiable and engaging friend. That's how we started talking. As the days passed, we got to know each other better. She sings like an angel. Observing the charming rhythm she radiates when she releases her tone, she could wake a dead man. I realized that my writing skills could complement her singing abilities. We have an unreleased song; this is something we don't want the world to know yet, but I love my readers. Believe me, the song is beautiful. Her alluring voice brought life to my mesmerizing writing skills.

As we grew closer, I started supporting her in every heated argument that ensued in the WhatsApp group where we met, although I was always quick to correct her when she overstepped the limits of words. The WhatsApp group members began to spread rumors that we were engaged in a romantic relationship; some of them still believe this till now. This is an opportunity to let you all know that Miss Abs and I are just close friends—there are no strings attached. Despite the distance between us, the flow of our friendship couldn't be stopped. This is someone I now see every day in school. We may have disagreements, but we always settle as our understanding is seamless. You know that I'm older than her, so I show her how to behave like a mature person. All hail Peters! 😂

Now, to the big question: why is Deborah called "Miss Abs"? She earned this moniker due to the dry and out-of-context jokes she occasionally cracks. Don't get me wrong; Deborah is a genuinely amusing person, but she tends to falter when trying to be on top of her game for an extended period 😂. On that day, I told her that her jokes can be boring to my ears, playfully dubbing her "Abnormal." She didn't initially like the name until I shortened it to "Abs." Being a creative personality, she redefined the name, asserting that "Abs" is an acronym for Alluring, Blunt, and Sweet. The name is gaining popularity at the University of Lagos 😂.
