JULES HAS BEEN TRYING TO PRETEND like this whole spontaneous trip wasn't making her go absolutely insane, but some of her actions got the best of her. after they got back with the cake, they all sang happy birthday to each other, and jules immediately made her way into nicks room. she didn't even indulge a piece of cake. nick didn't let her go to bed without one though, taking her a piece shortly after.
everyone, for the most part, thought it'd be best to leave her alone for the night. erin was the only one who tried to check on her but ended up getting absolutely nothing from it. after being shooed out of nicks room almost immediately, erin just told everyone to give her space. though, that didn't stop matt from sneaking away from the group as they all sat in the living room and watched a movie.
matt didn't know what he was getting himself into but he knew he had to talk to jules. it was hurting him too much to see her like this. but when he walked up to nicks door, he faltered. his hand raised and the absence of a knock filled the hallway he stood in. matt thought to himself, should i do this? if she wouldn't talk to erin why the hell would she talk to me?
