AFTER A FEW DAYS, THE WEEKEND finally arrived. yes, that weekend. the one where matt was taking sophia out somewhere. wherever they decided to go. which was funny to jules because sophia was trying to make matt pick, but jules has had to learn to adapt and she always know what she wants to do because matt never had a clue. he couldn't make a decision for the life of him. "where do you want to eat?" "oh i don't know... whatever you like, i like." they probably still didn't know what was happening because it was already friday night and she remembered matt mentioning sometime that he was picking her up at seven. (which was in two hours).
it was also the same weekend that jules originally wanted to watch ten things i hate about you with him. which she was still butt hurt about, even if they did end up watching it anyways.
there was only a slight issue... matt hasn't said a word to jules and jules hasn't said a word to matt in at least three days. the last time she texted him was when he checked up on her after dropping her off. it was very rare for them to not speak to each other this long. the fact that she was grounded also may have had a play on the communication, but it's never truly stopped them before. again, this was like the first time they haven't talked for three days straight. and the weird part about it was that jules barely even noticed they hadn't until nick reached out today to ask if she wanted to do anything.
