— 𝐈𝐓 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄 long for Magenta to get a whole list of names to Warren.

As he listened to each name listed, his eyes darkened. Most of them were from a specific group of seniors — one of which being the senior that had asked Layla out.

Magenta had found out who that was, too.

After thanking Magenta and then going to meet Layla at their spot under the tree, he knew exactly what he had to do.

He just needed to wait until he wasn't around Layla first, seeing as she would most definitely try to stop him.

Luckily, it was easy for him to get away from Layla. Being that Warren was a year older and that she was a sidekick while he was a hero — most of their classes were on opposite sides of the school.

So when the bell rang — cutting off Layla's soft chattering, she waved goodbye to him and rushed off to class.

Normally, Warren would walk her to whatever class she had — no matter how far it was from his own, but he told her he had a test today that he couldn't be late for and that he wanted to get there as quickly as possible so he could study a little more.

Complete and utter bullshit, but it needed to be done. Warren would let himself feel bad for lying to her later. For now, he had a mission.

— 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐃 𝐖𝐀𝐒 at its peak, and the halls were stuffed to the brim. It was practically impossible to get by without bumping into another person.

That was good, it meant maximizing the amount of eyes that would be on Warren when he set his plan into motion.

Not even a minute later, he saw his target leaning against one of the lockers, laughing with his scumbag friends.

Warren walked right up to him, his face set in a mean glare. He didn't even bother saying anything, opting to just slam the douchebag up against the locker even more, lifting him off his feet so he couldn't try to get away.

"Heard you've been talking shit about my girl," Warren growled at the boy, who laughed nervously, before attempting to regain his confidence. His friends had cleared a few feet away from him the moment they had clocked Warren storming their way.

"Hey man, maybe don't date a slut next-"

The pyrokinetic pulled the boy away from the locker just to slam him against it again, causing a dent to form in the locker.

"Say anything like that again, say her name, look at her, touch her, or even breathe in her direction again — and you're dead." He warned, loud enough for everyone in the hallway — who had stopped to watch the debacle — to hear.
