— 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐀 deep breath before he knocked on the Williams' door, trying to ignore the way he had made out with their daughter on this very doorstep two weeks ago to date.

Before his mind could go further down that path, the door swung open — Layla standing there and bouncing excitedly as she greeted him with a smile and a hug — being careful not to ruin the bouquet of flowers he held in his hand.

Warren wrapped his arms around her immediately — a subconscious movement at this point, as he immediately relaxed at her touch.

When they finally pulled apart, he took the opportunity to scan his girlfriend up and down, admiring her outfit.

She wore a white strapless top tucked into emerald green dress pants this time, the same golden heels and jewelry set from the night before. Her hair was straightened and tonight she wore a dark red lip combo, effectively bringing his sole attention to her lovely lips he'd become so acquainted with over the past couple weeks.

He groaned softly, pulling her back into his arms.

"Are you trying to kill me, Hippie?" He asked softly, one hand coming up to gently caress the corner of her mouth — careful not to smear her lipstick.

"Can't even kiss you now without your parents knowing I was corrupting their daughter." He continued, not reacting at all when Layla glared at him.

"You are not corrupting me, stop it." She scolded gently. "If anything, we're corrupting each other." She finished, silently recalling Warren's confession of not having any experience prior to her.

The Peace boy smirked lightly, caressing her cheek and placing a soft kiss on the area he'd rubbed.

"You wanna corrupt me, Hippie? You little pervert." He teased.

Layla batted at his chest and rolled her eyes. "Not a pervert." She grumbled, before grabbing his hand and tugging on him — only being able to pull him into the house because he went along willingly.

Upon seeing Lorelai, he extended the flowers to her and smiled nervously. "These are for you, Mrs. Williams. It's nice to meet you."

The older woman melted immediately, grabbing the flowers and pulling Warren down into a hug — uncaring of the way he was slow to return the hug, not having expected such a gesture.

"Oh, thank you, sweetie! These are wonderful!" She then pulled away and turned her body to the side.

"Liam, stop watching the game and come greet your daughter's boyfriend!" She said, shaking her head in only slightly real annoyance as she walked into the kitchen to find a vase.
