Chapter 14: Miss

===== Eevee's POV =====

It's cold and dark. I can't even tell if my eyes are open or not. I also feel like... I'm floating? no, no, falling! Yeah! I'm falling. I can't feel anything underneath me, there's a gust of wind and... wait!? Why I'm I falling!?

"Eevee!" "Creature!" I heard two different voices shout at the same time. But the one voice sounds more overpowering.

"Creature, attack the Noodle Boy!" Wait... I know that voice.

Images of that red hair kid suddenly popped around me. My body started moving on its own. My suddenings were changing quickly.

I was using Quick Attack to run away from him and his car. I was in the forest then that's when I found the city. Using Double Team, I managed to hide behind a building with a pig head on it or something. I was terrified, hiding in a smelly green box.

I can hear the footsteps getting closer. It's getting louder. The stuff around me turning into red sticky like goo. My heart beats faster as my breathing quickens. I lift my arms up, only for the goo to stick to it.

The lid opens. Revealing that red hair kid. "Creature! I said "attack!" He shouts, sounding more annoyed than before. I struggle to get out of the goo but it pulls me in, making me sink into the goo until I couldn't see anything.

===== MK's POV =====

Squirting my eyes from the gust of wind, I can see Redson just below me and Eevee farther down. It's hard to tell when we're going to reach the bottom.

"Eevee!" I shouted as Redson shouted "Creature" at the same time. I did a swimming motion over but Redson grabbed my leg and flung me away from Eevee. I started spinning out of control for a bit.

"Creature, attack the Noodle Boy!" Redson shouts, pointing at me. He falls beside Eevee waiting for the attack.

Nothing happens.

Eevee still has that same red eye blank face on them, watching me. It was quiet for a minute besides the noise of the loud wind hitting my ears.

"Creature! I said "attack!" Redson demands again, sounding more annoyed and making me jump.

Eevee does nothing again, almost like they are hesitating to move.

I start air swimming back over to Eevee, ducking my head as Redson tries to punch me. In a quick motion, I kicked him in the stomach "Whaaaa!" he shouts, spinning away from us.

"Eevee. Can you hear me? It's me, MK." I softly said, trying my best to sound calm.

Redson grabs my arm, attempting to pull me away from Eevee. I quickly held onto Eevee's arm before Redson pushed us away.

"Noodle Boy!" He shouts in frustration as Me and Eevee were spinning away from him.

Glancing down, some land came into view along with a big body of water under us. I cleared my throat and continued to talk softly to Eevee, despite my mind yelling at me in fear that we are almost reaching the bottom.

I gently cup Eevee's cheeks. Looking into the red soulless eyes, if I look closely, I can see my own reflection. "Eevee... I know you're still in there. I don't know what you're seeing or thinking but... I'm still going to get you back home."

Eevee's eyes went wide before closing.
