Today is the day when, we will take the first step towards our new journey.... Everyone was busy preparing for the engagement function that is going to take place in the evening, at our mansion, while I am sitting inside my room, lost deep in my thoughts, about how I am going to adjust into the new environment, how will be my relations with my in-laws, will I be able to meet their expectations, above all will I ever be able to love him, what if he leaves me when he gets to know about my .......
My thoughts were interrupted, when I heard a knock on my door, I felt something wet on my cheeks and that's when I realised tears were flowing down my eyes, I quickly went to the washroom and washed my face... After washing my face, I went to open my door....It was Abhijay bhai,
"Yes Bhai",
" Baccha, what happen why are your eyes swollen, were you crying, did someone say something to you , tell me i will... " I cut him in the middle of his outburst
"Bhai, bhai, I am totally okay, it was just, I was thinking how within a few weeks I will have to leave you all " I said and hugged him and let my tears flow freely wetting his shirt , while bhai patiently rubbed my back, and wrapped his arms protectively around me, and I snuggled more into his chest feeling his warmth, our relation has always been this way, all my brothers treat me as their own child, since I am the youngest among all of them.
However after that dreadful night they have become even more protective towards me than they already were, specially abhi bhai. Soon I felt more arms wrapped around me and i knew it was none other than my brothers,
Our hugging session was interrupted when we heard someone clearing their throat...we looked in that direction and found mumma...She was gazing at us with love filled eyes.....
She came towards me and ruffled my hairs while kissing my forehead...
"Bacche, the makeup artist have arrived, go to your room they will prepare you for the engagement function, Dhruv's family will arrive here by 7pm and it's already 4pm " Mumma said while patting my head... I smiled at her and went inside my room.
After a few minutes, a young girl probably of my age came inside my room and began dolling me up for the evening. I am not a fan of makeup so I told her to keep it as natural as she could... After almost 2 hours which felt like an eternity I was finally ready when I heard a knock on the door, it was mumma
"Meri bacchi kitni pyari lag rahi hai, kisiki nazar na lage" Mumma spoke with tear filled eyes, not being able to control my tears I hugged her...
" Shivu chal tere sasural wale pohoch gaye hai, muhurat bhi nikla jaa raha hai " I noded at her and went downstairs......

Dhruv was nervous as fuck, he wasn't showing it to anyone, but deep down somewhere he was scared for this new beginning, he is even more scared thinking what if he does something wrong which upsets Shivantika...
His trance was broken, when he felt someone's hands in his shoulder, it was his sister smiling cheekily at him, it seems as if she is more excited for her brother's engagement than himself....
"Bhai, you are looking so handsome, bhabi to flat hi ho jaigi ki aapke upar" she spoke with excitement in her eyes ..

His Outfit
"Thank you bacche,wese tu bhi kuch Kam nahi lag rahi" Dhruv replied...while she just shrugged off telling him how she always looks good....
" Atcha bhai chalo, maa bula rahi hai, jaane ka time ho gaya hai" He nodded at her and went downstairs, where he saw his best friend Arjun standing all in his glory with a grin on his face... They all settled themselves in there cars and left for Singhania Mansion...
Malhotras, were welcomed by Shivantika's mother, after which Dhruv was asked to stand in the stage while Shivantika's mother went to bring her from her room....
Arjun and Dhruv were busy talking when they heard jingles of anklets, so their eyes moved towards the direction of the sound and there she was, Shivantika ...looking no less than a goddess..... Seeing her only one word left from Dhruv's mouth

Her look
"Muh bandh kar le makkhi ghus jayegi" Dhruv was brought back to reality by Arjun's taunt...
Dhruv just glared at him and forwarded his hands in order to help Shivantika climb up the stage....
Both were standing side by side when Dhruv whispered " You are looking gorgeous Mrs. would be Malhotra " in Shivantika's ears .... She went all red, due to shyness..
Soon it was time for exchanging rings, Ishita brought the ring from the bride's side while Anjali brought the ring from the groom's side...
Shivantika made Dhruv wear his ring first, making everyone hoot and clap at the same time...while Dhruv was staring at her with some unknown emotions in his eyes,
What he did next stunned everyone, the Singhanias were shocked while the Malhotras had a proud smile on their faces, recovering from the initial shock. On the other hand Shivantika was watching Dhruv's actions with wide eyes....
"He went down on his knees for her"
