"Why?" the question left my mouth as soon as I saw the driver I allotted for Shivantika, Ramu kaka that is what we used to call him.

He kept mum.

"I don't think he is gonna open his mouth this easy,it's better we do it in our way Dhruv, for god sake you are going too easy on him" chimed Arjun standing behind me

"I am asking you one last time kaka, why? Why did you betray us?" He looked at me guilt clearly visible in this eyes, but there was something more in his eyes, something other than guilt

I knew this feel too well, after all that's the only emotion I have been feeling nowadays apart from rage.

Because tha...that was the only way I could save my daughter, two months back I got a call from my son in law, he was all tensed up because my daughter Anika didn't return back home from her work, till late night, so we both started to search for her, we went to the police station but they denied to take over the case accusing my daughter to run away with someone leaving her husband and her one year baby boy. Having no hope left we continued to search for her, but alas we couldn't find her.

The..the next morning I got a call from someone, and when I picked up my breaths got stuck in my throat when I heard my daughter screaming, suddenly her screams died down and a man began speaking, he didn't tell who he was, he just told me to spy you in return of my daughter, I..I didn't.. didn't do it in the beginning, how could I betray my own people, I begged him to leave my daughter but he didn't

Finally I made a decision to inform you about it but, I could never reach you" he left his words hanging in the middle crying hysterically

"Why? Why couldn't you reach me" I asked wanting to know the whole truth.

He looked at me with a sad smile, his eyes all red due to crying

" After searching for my daughter by my own for atleast  2 more weeks after the call, I decided to take help from you, but...but the day...day I was about to visit you I got a vi..video"

"What was in that video?"

"Some...someone was...was rap.... raping my..my daughter while she lied motionlessly on the floor, blood flowing down her head,

There was message written with it, that if I as much as even try to tell you the truth, they will kill my daughter. And that was my breaking point I couldn't loose my daughter so I agreed to help him, the next day after I agreed to help him we saw my daughter's lifeless body on our doorstep.

You..you kno.. know beta those people didn't ev..even have this much mercy to atleast cover her, she..she was all naked, without waiting another minute I and my son in law took her to the nearest hospital, but unfortunately my daughter slipped under coma due to blood loss and shock
