Midnight Rain || Soonwoo

Jungkook was screaming and shouting with Taehyung and Namjoon holding him back. He was scared that his brother had killed everyone at this point. He calmed down a little when he saw Jihoon and Mingyu running out of the building. He waited for some more time but the others didn't appear, scaring him even more

"Gyu? Are you okay?"

Taehyung asked worriedly as Mingyu and Jihoon were making their way to Jungkook and Taehyung

"Very terrible hyung. They all are trapped in the nurse's office. And the worst part of all this is that even Hoshi hyung has personality disorder and currently both of their personalities have taken over them. Me and Woozi hyung got the sedative to make them unconsious. We came here to inform you about this."

Mingyu stated with a weak smile as Jungkook froze. Taehyung's jaw dropped in shock as Jungkook tried to get to Mingyu but Taehyung didn't let go

"Go then Gyu. Stop them."

Taehyung stated as Mingyu nodded and left with Jihoon behind him. The two of them gulped and stepped in the building but heard the fire alarm going off, making them pause

"Run! There is a fire near the nurse's office!"

Beomgyu screamed while running past the two of them as they looked at each other with fear evident in their eyes

"We need to get them unconsious first. They can't fucking escape like that."

Jihoon stated as Mingyu nodded and looked ahead

"We can't find them together. We have to split up. So you go left, I will go right."

Jihoon stated again as Mingyu grabbed his hand with tears filling his eyes

"H-Hyung I am scared..."

Mingyu sniffled as Jihoon pulled him a bit, making him bend down as Jihoon wiped his tears away

"Don't cry. You can do it. I am doing it too. You go for Hoshi since he can be easily distracted. I will find a way and get Wonwoo down. Now go."

Jihoon stated softly to Mingyu before he patted his cheeks and let him go. Mingyu took a deep breath before turning around to leave. Jihoon watched Mingyu walk away as he felt bad and worried for the younger but decided that he should finish his task soon. Mingyu walked as silently as possible but stumbled on a knocked down chair, hitting his elbow in the process. He felt like crying but he couldn't even let out a sound when he saw Soonyoung appear right above him with his crazy smile

"I caught a fish! Wonu come here quick!"

Soonyoung shouted as Mingyu's eyes watered. He was shaking violently as he didn't know what to do but then Jihoon's words echoed in his mind

'Don't cry. You can do it. I am doing it too. You go for Hoshi since he can be easily distracted. I will find a way and get Wonwoo down. Now go.'

These words kept on ringing in his head as he looked behind Soonyoung and thought of something

"Hoshi hyung! Look there is a tiger there!"

Mingyu exclaimed while pointing behind Soonyoung as he turned around and looked at the distance

"Where?! I don't see it- OWW!"

Soonyoung screamed as Mingyu had taken the chance and injected the sedative on Soonyoung's arm, making him wince in pain as Mingyu slowly took out the needle and pushed Soonyoung away, making him stumble and lie on the floor. The sedative was working as Soonyoung slowly started to close his eyes. Mingyu sighed in relief and turned around to see a really pissed off Wonwoo in a distance

"What the fuck did you do to him Kim Mingyu?!"

Wonwoo shouted as Mingyu flinched. Tears flowed down his face as it pained him when his crush of 2 years shouted at him like that

"W-Wonwoo hyung-"

"You will pay for this!"

Wonwoo exclaimed as he charged at Mingyu, who screamed and ducked down. When he didn't feel anything, he looked up to see that Wonwoo was holding his arm in pain while Jihoon was panting heavily with an empty needle in his hand. Wonwoo collapsed on the floor, making Mingyu cry even harder as Jihoon couldn't help but tear up too. He slowly walked towards Mingyu and hugged him tightly as they both cried together. But that didn't last long as the realization hit them that their friends were still trapped in the nurse's office with a fire nearby

"C-Come on! We have to save some asses from the nurse's office!"

Jihoon exclaimed as he wiped his and Mingyu's tears away before he pulled Mingyu up. Mingyu stood up and nodded before crouching down again and pointing at his back, gesturing Jihoon to get on it

"I-It will save time and- Y-You will be able to grab the fire extinguisher easily. Now come on hyung."

Mingyu whispered as he looked at an unconsious Soonyoung and Wonwoo, making his eyes water again but he blinked back the tears while Jihoon got on Mingyu's back. Mingyu stood up and dashed towards the nurse's office while Jihoon managed to grab two fire extinguishers on the way. They stopped when they saw how big the fire had gotten

"N-No... S-Seokmin... C-Chan..."

Jihoon whispered as Mingyu gently put him down before taking one of the fire extinguishers from Jihoon

"V-Vernon and C-Cheol hyung are in there too... W-We have to save them."

Mingyu stated, snapping back Jihoon to reality as he nodded and used the fire extinguisher along with Mingyu and managed to douse the big fire. Mingyu kicked the door open, making a loud crash sound from the inside and many screams were heard. Jihoon pushed the door open and the screams stopped. The two of them saw everyone huddled near Vernon and Seungcheol. Seokmin and Chan immediately went to hug their older brother while Minghao ran and hugged Mingyu tightly

"W-Where are they?"

Jeonghan asked as Mingyu's eyes watered thinking about what they had to do to save their friends

"T-They are unconsious for the time being. We need to leave now. Someone help me and Mingyu take them out of the school building."

Jihoon explained as they looked too scared to even get near Wonwoo and Soonyoung

"It's okay hyung. I can carry both of them-"

"No Mingyu. I will take Hoshi. You can take Wonwoo."

Jihoon argued as Mingyu sighed deeply and gave in to whatever Jihoon said. He carried Wonwoo while Jihoon carried Soonyoung even if he knew he was going to struggle to do so. Bang Chan and Changbin carried Vernon while Junhui, Joshua and Seokmin carried Seungcheol out of the nurse's office and followed Jihoon amd Mingyu. Finally they all walked outside the school building as Jungkook got out of Taehyung's grip and ran to them

"I-I-"

"He is fine Kook. Just needs a little rest."

Mingyu reassured as Jungkook just looked down. He could never help his brother in such situations and he felt useless

"Don't overthink Jungkook. You have to stay strong for him."

Jihoon stated as he put Soonyoung on a stretcher while Mingyu gently placed Wonwoo on another stretcher

"Hopefully they will be fine when they wake up."

Chan whispered as he was still in a daze about what had happened just now
