Midnight Rain || Soonwoo

Seungkwan felt like he lost everything. After Vernon left for America, he just became hopeless. He helplessly cried while sitting on the seat of the airport. He thought that it's over. He thought he would never be able to apologize for what he did but he felt hope when someone tapped his shoulder. He looked up only for his hopes to be crushed seeing that it was Samuel

"Don't cry. You are crying over nothing."

Samuel stated as that angered Seungkwan. He stood up and wiped away his tears harshly while glaring at Samuel

"Say that to yourself when you are crying over Dino damn it."

Seungkwan stated angrily before leaving, not bothering to look back while Samuel just sighed deeply and waited patiently. Seungkwan angrily stormed off, not watching where he was going as he bumped onto someone

"S-Seungkwan?"

Seungkwan froze. He looked up and saw Vernon right infront of him, making his heart beat fast

"Y-Your f-flight-"

"I-I didn't go. We still have things to fix."

Vernon stated as Seungkwan's eyes watered. He hugged Vernon tightly and sobbed in his arms while Vernon tried to comfort Seungkwan the best he could

"Don't cry. Let's try to fix this okay?"

Vernon asked as Seungkwan nodded again and again

"Hyung!"

Samuel exclaimed as Seungkwan could feel his eyelids close. All he could see was black. He opened his eyes again to see Samuel. Vernon wasn't there. Seungkwan panicked. He practically jumped up on his feet and looked for Vernon everywhere despite being confused on how he ended up in an unknown room

"Hyung! Calm down!"

Samuel exclaimed but Seungkwan didn't listen. He frantically looked around everywhere. His eyes watered as he fell on his knees and burst out crying

"Where is he?!"

Seungkwan shouted while gripping onto his hair. Samuel held his wrists to prevent him from tearing apart his scalp

"Hyung! I don't know who this 'he' you are talking about right now but please calm down! Jeonghan hyung wouldn't like to see you like this!"

Samuel exclaimed as Seungkwan's cries turned into sobs. Samuel tried to calm him down by pulling him into a hug

"W-Where even are we?"

Seungkwan asked in between his sobs as Samuel sighed deeply before answering

"You don't remember? We were having breakfast when you suddenly decided to start an argument with Hansol hyung? We are running away from the cops and are currently staying at the hotel in Daegu which madam Wen booked. Oh come now hyung!"

Samuel explained as he wiped away Seungkwan's tears while Seungkwan was left dumbfounded

So this was all a nightmare? Yeah this was definitely a very terrible nightmare...

Seungkwan thought as he stood up from Samuel's embrace and flopped on the bed, instantly drifting away to his dreamland again. Samuel sighed deeply and looked up at the ceiling. He understood what Seungkwan was going through at the moment

How long will they take?

Samuel wondered with a sarcastic smile. He sighed and waited. Even when it was lunch time, no one had come yet. Samuel was amused by the fact that no one in general cared for Seungkwan, who was always there for everyone

That's it.

Samuel thought and got up from his bed and stormed out of his room. He went straight to the dining area where many of them were eating except for him and Seungkwan

"I just wonder why I even involved myself in this bullshit."

Samuel whispered angrily but Chan heard him. He froze on the spot as Seokmin noticed him

"Channie? Why are you-"

Seokmin stopped mid way and saw Samuel's eyes filling with angry tears. He dropped his chopsticks on the plate as Jisoo looked up and saw Samuel clenching his fists. He nudged Jeonghan, who glared at him but followed the direction of his eyes and saw Samuel and immediately stopped everyone

"Sammy did Seungkwan do anything-"

"Go to hell, all of you!"

Samuel shouted as he turned away and dashed back to his and Seungkwan's room. Everyone stayed silently in shock as they looked at the direction Samuel ran off to before Jisung and Felix stood up and ran after him. Everyone snapped back to reality and chased after Jisung and Felix only to be stopped by Changbin

"Don't. Give him some time."

Changbin stated with disappointment in his eyes as he looked at all of them. Soonyoung and Wonwoo looked at each other in surprise because they didn't have any idea on what happened. The most guilty there was Vernon as he had a fair idea on why Samuel was really pissed off

"All of you, go to Seungkwan."

Vernon stated while looking down as they casted worried glances at him

"Don't look at me and go!"

Vernon exclaimed as almost everyone stood up and rushed to Seungkwan and Samuel's room. The ones left were Changbin, Soonyoung and Wonwoo. The two older ones asked Vernon and Changbin what had happened and they explained the situation

"Minnie came to you and not Kwan?"

Soonyoung asked after hearing everything as Vernon nodded silently

"Strange... Anyways I will go to Kwan and Sammy. Wonu you stay with Sol and Changbin."

Soonyoung suggested as Wonwoo nodded and comforted Vernon with Changbin saying that things will be alright while Soonyoung stood up and walked over to Seungkwan and Samuel's room which was being crowded by the rest

"Samuel please open the door-"

"All of you go back to your rooms."

Soonyoung commanded as his demeanour changed. Jeonghan was about to protest but Seungcheol stopped him from doing so and dragged him away from there along with Joshua. Taehyung ran after them as Jungkook led the rest away from there

"Seokmin stay back. Same goes for Yongbokkie and Ji."

Soonyoung stated as Seokmin froze hearing his name and not the nickname Soonyoung had given him while Jisung and Felix stayed back. The rest went back to their rooms as Soonyoung looked at Seokmin

"We need to talk, Seokmin."
