Midnight Rain || Soonwoo

It was raining heavily. Wonwoo was running all the way to the hospital, not caring that he was soaked in rain. He dashed inside and almost tripped on his way to the reception

"K-Kwon Soonyoung?"

Wonwoo asked as the nurse looked at his state and felt bad but she couldn't let him go and meet Soonyoung

"I am sorry sir. I can't let you go."

The nurse stated with an apologetic smile as Wonwoo was panting angrily

"Why not?!"

Wonwoo exclaimed as the nurse sighed deeply

"His friends told me to not tell me about where Mr. Kwon is to you by showing how you look sir. I am sorry but-"

Wonwoo didn't listen and ran. He checked every ward and finally found Soonyoung's ward. Angry glares were sent at him as Jeonghan stood up and marched to him. He gave him a tight slap which echoed throughout the hallway

"We won't let you get near him you bastard. You fucking almost broke his nose and jaw!"

Jeonghan screamed which was almost the same as Seungcheol talking. Jihoon walked up next to Jeonghan and punched Wonwoo's stomach, making him groan as he stumbled backwards but the security guards caught him before he landed on the floor

"I would love to make you end up the same way Hoshi did but he wouldn't be happy."

Jihoon stated angrily as Wonwoo wanted to explain but couldn't even get out a word as he was being dragged by the security guards. Wonwoo saw how much Chan, Seungkwan, Seokmin and Jungkook were crying. He felt confused for a moment but knew the reason why they were crying. The security guards pushed him out of the hospital as Wonwoo fell on his butt and stared at the hospital. Tears were streaming down his face as he didn't know how he could fix this

"You can only pray that Soonyoung hyung will recover fast and explain on behalf of you, Wonwon hyung."

Samuel stated as he walked towards Wonwoo while holding an umbrella above him. Wonwoo could do nothing but helplessly cry as he had no idea on how to fix this. He was called to the principal's office the next day with his father and his father sent him back to his class with a bloody nose and black eye. Everyone was smiling in satisfaction seeing their biggest bully being hurt for the first time but not Soonyoung, Samuel and Jungkook. The three of them looked horrified and exactly knew who did this to him. Soonyoung couldn't speak because his jaw hurt and he knew that he needed to fix things soon

"What's wrong Kook? Aren't you happy with the fact that your bastard brother got what he deserved?"

Minghao asked bitterly as Jungkook was controlling himself from breaking down. Samuel looked away and held back Soonyoung, who wanted to pull Minghao's ears

"Hoshi please. Don't go on with what you said a month ago."

Jeonghan stated as he raised his hand to stop Soonyoung, who now had angry tears making its way through his eyes. He stood up and pointed at Jeonghan angrily before running out of there. Everyone gasped in shock as Samuel shook his head disappointedly

"You said the thing which he didn't need and want to hear, hyung."

Samuel stated with a displeased face before chasing after Soonyoung but stopped mid way to see Wonwoo being bullied by some other students. Samuel walked towards them and sent them away with his warning glare to which they noticed and left

"Come on. He is probably waiting."

Samuel stated with a smile while lending his hand as Wonwoo looked at it silently before taking it and letting Samuel take him to Soonyoung

"Sam has gone crazy. Gyu, I suggest you to take your friends and stop him. I will stay here with Kookie."

Taehyung stated as Mingyu swallowed the lump of pain, fright and anger before nodding and rushing out of the cafeteria with his friends behind him. On the other hand, Soonyoung let the tears flow from his eyes as he whimpered silently. He gasped in shock when someone suddenly patted his shoulder. He was about to punch the person only to see that it was Wonwoo, which made more tears flow from his eyes

"H-Hey... P-Please don't cry..."

Wonwoo whispered as if he spoke, he knew that his voice will break. Soonyoung shook his head and pointed at the door and Wonwoo knew what Soonyoung wanted to tell

"They don't know that's why they are like that. But at least you and Sam know about it and understand why I am like this."

Wonwoo whispered as Soonyoung cried even harder and Wonwoo looked at him with uncertainty

"Are you... Are you sure they have to know about this?"

Wonwoo asked with a small voice but it wasn't gone unheard by the people opposite to the door

"What do we have to know, Jeon Wonwoo?"

Jihoon asked as he kicked the door open, making both of them flinch. Samuel was being held back by Chan as he helplessly looked at Wonwoo with an apologetic face

"I guess it's-"

"It's time to know that you hate us and you are a piece of shit? Please tell us something we don't know."

Minghao stated as for the first time infront of everyone except for Soonyoung, Wonwoo's eyes watered. He was really affected by the words and looked at Soonyoung, who opened his arms and Wonwoo gladly hugged him while crying on his shoulder. They were shocked as to why Wonwoo was suddenly becoming such a softie except for Samuel and Soonyoung

"I-It's okay... D-Don't listen... T-To them..."

Soonyoung managed to say as Wonwoo cried even harder and shook his head before he let go off Soonyoung and smiled at him gratefully

"You took every blow he gave. I told you you didn't have to owe me anything but you just- you just didn't listen and became the stubborn person you are."

Wonwoo stated with a sad smile as he patted Soonyoung's head gently before turning around to leave. Soonyoung wanted to stop him but the way his friends were hurting Samuel stopped him from doing so. He watched Wonwoo leave with all the mean comments thrown at him by the people Soonyoung called his friends

"You are not going any closer to him Hoshi. Samuel is here, you know."

Junhui stated as Samuel's eyes watered. Soonyoung wanted to punch everyone but he didn't want his other personality to take over after such a long time so he kept his cool and stormed out of there
