Midnight Rain || Soonwoo

Silence. Other than the sound of the bus, there was silence. Minghao was beyond angry when he saw Wonwoo and Jihoon walk up to them with a guilty Mingyu behind and the rest being totally confused about this situation

"You two dickheads! You two were supposed to be the closest to Hoshi  hyung besides Kwan, Seok, Dino, Jun hyung and Han hyung and this is what he gets?! Wonwoo hyung you are understandable because it's your other personality but Woozi hyung?! What is your excuse?! You could have come with him!"

Minghao shouted as Junhui held him back while giving both the latters an angry glare

"But just because it's your other personality, doesn't mean it justifies your actions, Wonwoo. He took every beating, bullying and blows you gave him with a smile! A fucking smile damn it! I know that you have done that for him before too but he never left you behind! All he went away for was to get a damn therapy which I assume didn't go well considering the nightmare he had!"

Junhui exclaimed as he was angry too but he knew that using hands will not solve anything

"Go to hell!"

Minghao shouted as Junhui pulled him in a hug to help the younger calm down along with himself

"What?! Who is coming with Hoshi hyung?!"

Seungkwan exclaimed as Minghao glared at Wonwoo and Jihoon before answering

"He will either come with Han hyung or will come alone. It just depends on the situation in the bus."

Minghao answered as Seungkwan glared at Jihoon and Wonwoo

"If he is sad even a bit when he gets off that damn bus, I will make sure your lives will become hell in school. Mark my words."

Seungkwan warned as Jihoon gulped. Both he and Wonwoo knew that Seungkwan was capable of doing it knowing that he was a social butterfly

"Don't do anything."

Jeonghan spoke quietly from behind Junhui and Minghao, making the two of them turn around as their eyes widened in shock to see Seungcheol with him as well

"No no no-"

"Yes, Dk. Hoshi is driving the bus."

Seungcheol stated with a smile filled with guilt and pain

"B-But-"

"He said he wanted alone time. We both told him no but he pulled out that trust card again. Not to mention it was his other personality who did that so we couldn't disagree with him further."

Jeonghan explained as Wonwoo's ear perked up to the mention of Soonyoung's other personality

"And to answer everyone's question, his whole aura changed. He didn't smile while asking this."

Seungcheol spoke as Mingyu couldn't help but feel guilty. He felt like it was his fault for taking two people when he could have taken one of them only but he himself didn't know why he took both of them. He could have left Jihoon behind because he had this massive crush on Wonwoo but he couldn't leave Jihoon either because it was Jihoon who gave him the comfort in times like that

"T-The bus... I-It's speeding up."

Jisung whispered Felix pointed at the bus. The rest snapped their heads towards the direction of the bus, which was almost out of their sight

"Damn it! We have to catch up!"

Joshua exclaimed a bit as Mingyu quickly thought of something and bent down while tapping on Jihoon's shoulder

"Get on my back. You won't be left out."

Mingyu whispered but Jihoon shook his head gently while looking down

"I-I don't deserve to go there."

Jihoon whispered back as Mingyu stood up and nodded in understanding, knowing that Jihoon must be feeling guilty too so he started running first. He knew he had to. The rest followed his suite except for Changbin, Jisung, Felix, Wonwoo and Jihoon since it was not Changbin, Jisung and Felix's business to meddle in while Wonwoo and Jihoon were lost in their own thoughts

"One suggestion I would like to give you two hyungs on this situation even if it's something I shouldn't meddle in."

Jisung stated as Wonwoo and Jihoon snapped their heads and looked at the owner of the voice

"Never ever leave someone you care and love behind. It's from a terrible experience."

Jisung stated as Changbin tensed. Felix just looked down. The two of them knew who Jisung was talking about and it hurt them everytime they remembered that day. Now back on track because this is not a skz book haha. Jihoon and Wonwoo looked at each other, both already knowing what to do

"We have to-"

Crash

They stayed frozen in their spots. Felix was the first one to snap out of it. He ran, making Changbin and Jisung snap out of it too as they ran after Felix. Wonwoo and Jihoon stayed rooted in their spots as they didn't know if they should go or not

'You fools! Get to Soonyoung!'

A voice exclaimed to them as they looked at each other. Jihoon blinked, making Wonwoo blink too before they too ran. Half way through Wonwoo bent down a bit, allowing Jihoon to get on his back which Jihoon did instantly. Wonwoo ran as fast as he could. Sorrow and guilt washed over them as they tried to get to the crashed bus as fast as they could. Their hearts dropped when they heard cries of Seungkwan, Chan, Seokmin and Jeonghan. They felt like this was all their fault. Jisung and Felix couldn't do anything as they helplessly watched Changbin trying to comfort Chan

"Hoshi!"

Jihoon shouted, making everyone's head snap at their direction. Wonwoo didn't care. He ran past them towards the bus. He didn't listen when Seungcheol shouted at him to stop. He didn't listen to Mingyu crying for him to stop. He only cared about Soonyoung and Jihoon too so that he doesn't fall from his back

"Soonyoung! I know you didn't die yet!"

Wonwoo exclaimed as he could feel Jihoon's body shaking, indicating that he was crying

"I-It's probably too late W-Wonwoo..."

Jihoon whispered as Wonwoo shook his head, believing that nothing happened to Soonyoung

"It's not. He is strong. He won't die. He can't die."

Wonwoo stated as Jungkook slowly walked towards the duo with tears in his eyes

"H-How can you be so sure that he isn't d-dead? How?! Just because he took your blows doesn't mean that he can't die in a fucking bus crash!"

Jungkook shouted as Wonwoo froze. He slowly put Jihoon down, who was engulfed in a tight hug by Jungkook

"That's false, Kook. I took his blows which means that I can survive a fucking bus crash."

Soonyoung stated with a smile spread across his face as he lifted Changbin's bike and put it down on the road, wheeling it towards them while they all stared at him in shock

"S-Soonyoung?"

Wonwoo whispered as Soonyoung leaned the bike on the back of the bus and opened his arms widely

"I am back baby! Kwon Soonyoung aka Hoshi never dies!"
