Marry

After I showered, I immediately tucked myself to sleep. At dahil na rin sa pagod, agad din akong nakatulog. Late na akong nagising kinabukasan, at hindi ko na nakita si Ares sa tabi ko. The left side of the bed looks undone, so I'm sure he slept there.

The black curtains are all close, must be the reason why I woke up late. At hindi ko alam kung anong oras na dahil walang sinag ng araw na nakikita.

I quickly washed my face and went out of the room. The walls are made of glass and the blinds are open, making the house look spacious and bright now that it's morning.

Nadatnan ko siya sa malawak na sala, nakaupo at may binabasang iilang papel na bahagyang nakakalat sa center table. Beside the papers is his mug of coffee.

He's now wearing a white linen shirt, and a khaki linen short. Medyo basa pa ang buhok, halatang kakaligo lang.

Hindi pa ako nakakababa nang nag-angat siya ng tingin. I immediately noticed the metal square frame eyeglasses he's wearing.

It looks good on him. Iyon ang unang pumasok sa isip ko. If I will be vocal with the attraction I have for him, it will surely sound exaggerated. He might think I like him so much, which is also true. His face is just a great view to start the morning.

Tahimik niyang pinasadahan ang kabuuan ko nang makababa. It made me conscious now that he looks dashing with a simple outfit.

"Good morning," mahinang sabi ko.

He smoothly threw the paper he's holding to the center table, like it didn't even matter to him now. He tapped his thigh without taking his eyes off me. Bigla akong nanghina at hindi agad nakagalaw.

It was like on the spur of a moment when I slowly walked towards him. It was like he's the one controlling me. It was like... he owned me.

He gently pulled me to sit on his lap. He rested his face beside my cheeks. I immediately felt his hot breath, and it melted me.

Hindi ko na alam ang gagawin. I slightly bit the inside my cheek to control the emotions that is about to burst. Sa hindi mabilang na pagkakataon, muli niyang pinatunayan na siya lang ang may kakayahang gawin sa akin ito.

Mahabang katahimikan ang namayani. I relaxed when his hand started to play with my fingers. Ilang minuto akong nag-isip ng pwedeng pag-usapan bago nagsalita.

"What are your plans for today?"

It took him a while to answer that I almost thought he's already sleeping.

"I'm on leave for today. Would you like to get your things in your condo?" he suggested hoarsely.

I bit my lower lip when I realized I need to do that. Pansamantala kong nakalimutan ang susunod na gagawin.

"Yeah. I also need the luggage inside my car,"

He planted a soft kiss on my cheeks. Ngumuso ako nang napagtanto kung gaano ko kagusto iyon. You're getting insane, Anais!

"Yeah, your car will arrive later today. What do you want for breakfast?"

Halos bumuntong-hininga ako.

"Anything." simpleng sabi ko, hindi pa rin nakakabawi sa halik na iginawad niya.

"Aren't you going to ask me what I want?" mahinang sabi niya, halos manlambing.

Natigilan ako at bahagya siyang sinulyapan.

"What do you want?" tanong ko, lito.

He sniffed the skin below my ear, and kissed it. Bahagya akong napaigtad.
