- giyuu cross paths with her a few times but only bc theyre battling side by side (ish? In the dark forests with the trees n stuff so they kinda ignore eachother but u can see uniform so its enough to tell who's friend and foe
- y/n knows its giyuu bc of extreme sense of smell 👁👃👁 LOL (fun fact! Author also has extreme sense of smell its actually so bad I hate it I can smell smelly things from miles away, I am super taster yes the top 5% ALSO i smelt a gas leak at my school one time and they made a warning about it woah hooray! My nose saved the day woahhh)
- lalala idk there was some filler here abt them meeting up and like princess teases giyuu n stuff but his heart is with y/n so he refuses to pay attention to this random ninja looking spy aaa girl? Doesn't even know if it's a girl LOL

- anyway since giyuu basically a longer he only hangs out with this ninja girl **links to story title

- i remember this one scene where its like cold and winter and it start to snow and he gives her his cloak huehuehuehue

- LALALA then it comes to day of becoming REAL pillars or smth idfk bro I'm just remembering things at the top of my head bc 12yro me was going somewhere with this plot like they died/retired ??

- all applicants basically go inside this Japanese garden looking thing like from that one episode ugh idk ok and then theyre like kneeling in lines like at an exam
- Princess goes through a bunch of ceremonies like in mulan becoming a bride haha
- Princess is blindfolded and stands at the front of the space with those 2 twin things girls butterfly yeah them leading her the way
- y/n has to use her sense of touch and smell and FEELINGS okay just magic power idk to choose the next 7 pillars WOOH!!

- AND SO its like really tense bc all the old pillars are present too theyre like standing up and watching from the sides ... eg. That fire dude's dad is sweating balls hoping his son gets chosen for fire element

- so like Princess has to walk around twice and like touches ppl maybe idk??? To get rough sense of power (she has to choose strongest ig, choose the most powerful and right element for each pillars??)

- then she goes individually and like touches ppls faces/foreheads and uses her sense of smell to tell who is strong & WORTHY

and tHEN
- she smells giyuu Hahagaha bc this is the main character of the story and this is a giyuu x reader
- she cups his face with both hands to make sure she ain't tripping and even touches foreheads and stuff to extra sense his power LMAOOO CORNY TOMATO TOMATO

- lalala ph yeah and there's this thing where y/n can have an out of body experience which is like green ghost ugh like imagine the AVATAR nickelodeon series where aang or Katara do that ancient body thing and go to a different world except here y/n can just be a ghost outside of her body and she can see all the souls of the exam students infront of her which are the colour of their element and burn as bright as their power aalalalallala magic

- anyway eventually all 7 are chosen through a tassle ceremony thing and they get new stuff engraved in their Katanas and official uniform and all that jazz

- and then for some reason all of a sudden its a harem so like all the rengoku dude has the hits for Princess y/n harharhar and giyuu is like ewww nooo wtf fuck off bruh nuh uh

- and then theres like ugh I dont remember but y/n gets ill/sick/weak for some reason and they take care of her as emergency body guards??? Butterfly ladies make her medicine n stuff and giyuu and rengoku bicker over who gets to tuck her in bed LMFAOO

- oh yeah cuz she has that energy Lloyd from ninjago green power hybrid nezuko shiz so like she's (play) fighting with giyuu one time but then she gets exhausted all of a sudden and faints so like he carries her back to her room to help her rest and stuff and y/n gets a little kissy on the forehead hehehaha

- alalala i think her power has smth to do with being half demon guys I genuinely don't remember ok she just yeah

- and there was this other thing abt uhhhhhhh yo u actually don't remember but like rengoku was such a genuine sweet guy like imagine the 2nd love interest thats basically perfect but not the main love interest so giyuu gets chosen for some other reason

- oh yeah rengoku DIED after I started this fic so... maybe that's what happened... mb guys
