It was the night before the final selection, the four, who were all once children, are now grown up and stronger. After having a special meal, (Salmon and daikon! Giyuu's favourite food!) Mr Urokodaki sent them all to rest earlier and made sure all their preparations were made.
y/n was just finishing off her notes while the others were preparing for the big day, making sure to be quick so they could rest well.

Sabito: Guys I'm serious, the final selection is tomorrow there's no time to muck-around. GO TO SLEEP

y/n packed away her journal and belongings into a bag, knowing she'll return to her father's estate after the Selection, this will be her last night with her friends. But she couldn't tell them anything.
y/n: mkay I'm done, g' night guys!
Urokodaki: you kids sleeping?
Sabito: yes, finally
Within a blink of an eye, the four fell asleep (somehow) not knowing about the dark future that lay ahead of them. Mr Urokodaki went out quickly just to check around the mountain that there weren't any demons hanging around. And soon, what was to be tomorrow, became today...
