I try to get closer to the door to make out what they're saying. There's a man, for sure, but I keep hearing steps so there could be more. Ace only said one word so far in the conversation, and I didn't understand what it was, but I'm 100% sure it was him.

The first full phrase I make out is "Now go get the bitch" and, while I try to understand what he meant by that the, doors of the closet are opened and I'm blinded by the sudden light so I can't see the muscular guy that grabs me by the arm and throws me next to Ace. Since I'm tied instead of finding my balance I fall again.

By the look on Ace's face I get that I probably don't look particularly pleasant. Another man with a mustache comes towards me with a knife and I panic and try to crawl backwards.

"Stop moving, I just wanna get rid of the duct tape"

I do as he says unsure if trusting these people is a good idea, but looking at Ace he seems calm enough to reassure me. The man rips the tape but only from my legs, just so I can sit, then he takes the cloth out of my mouth and I breathe out.

When I've gotten used to breathing again I look around and realize we're surrounded by six armed men, two with guns and the rest with knives. A clock on the wall tells me it's 5.17am, my shift ends in a couple of hours.
