Carlo's POV

"The receptionist confirmed that the therapist had a great bond with the victim." Will read, "Both were last seen with a client who died of suicide." He looked up at me.

"There goes a witness," Will says, then he continues reading. "The therapist's name was Sedrik Martinez, he is an Australian male. Is married and is living with his wife."

"Where does he live? Does it say?" I asked. Will scrolled through the message in hopes of an address. "Ah, yes. It says here. He lives in an average house beside a gas station and..." Will paused.

"And what? continue." I said. "A lake." He finally said. My mouth formed into an O shape. "Which...lake?" I asked, "It doesn't say which but, that is extremely suspicious."

"We should definitely add him to the suspect list," Will said and he took out the same pen he used yesterday. "Do you always carry that pen?" I ask, "Yeah, never know when you're gonna need one."

I handed him the paper we used yesterday. He wrote our new suspect down.

CASE OF NOLAN ANDERSON
Suspect List:
Older sister, Isla Anderson
Cousin
Anyone working with victim
Sedrik Martinez

"Was he interviewed?" I asked, "No, it didn't mention him being interviewed." Will answered. "I'll call AFD, we're going to his house," Will said.

I grabbed a gun from my drawer and he handed him his gun, I checked if it was loaded and it was.

"Okay, let's go." He said, "Aren't you gonna check if your gun is loaded?" I asked. "No, it's heavy. I can tell it's loaded." He said. "And what are you gonna do if it turns out it isn't?"

"Then I'll use your gun." He said. "Will." He sighed in defeat. "Fine, I'll check." He showed me his gun. "See? Loaded." "Good, now we can go."

I got up and was about to leave the room. "Wait," Will paused, he hurried to his desk and quickly took a sip of his coffee.

"Really Will?!" I argued, "Okay, I'm ready now." He said. We went down the stairs because it was faster than an elevator, or, our elevator, at least.

I was about to get in my car but, Will stopped me. "No, we are not using your car." He said, "Why?" I asked.

"Why?! Your car is like 10 years old, it will take us 5 years to arrive!" He said while starting his car. "Fine," I replied.

"Don't be all mad now, get in." I got in the passenger seat "Wait, did you get the exact address?" I asked.

"Yeah of course, how else am I gonna know where to go?" "Just making sure," I said, He started the engine, and we left.

We arrived near the location, he parked beside the police cars. We both left the vehicle and approached the officers.

We discussed our plan and got closer to the house. The first two officers stood on the doorstep and knocked on the door. "AFD open up!" the officer shouted.

No response, they knocked again and shouted louder, repeating the same phrase. After several tries, we still didn't get a response. Meaning the door has to be kicked down.

In two tries, the door was busted down. Both officers held up their guns and entered. After a few seconds, me and Will also entered. I went to the right side and Will went to the left.

The rooms in the hallways seemed normal, I made it to the master bedroom. It was trashed. Blood stains, bleach. And, a singular rose petal.

The were many blood stains on the bed. A body was probably there. The closet was slightly opened. I opened it and investigated it.

Nothing was in there. I left the room to find the others, "Nothing in that hallway, did you find anything?" the officer asked. "Yes, plenty. We need officers to investigate the master bedroom ASAP"

"Got it," she said. Will and the other office came to us. "Nothing," Will said. "There were only some blood stains in one of the rooms, nothing else."

"Officers are coming, What did you find in that room?" the officer asked me. "Bleach, numerous blood stains, a rose petal. And it was very obvious that a body was placed on that bed before."

"Of course, Carlo, it's a bed," Will said, "By body, I mean dead body. You should've seen that pool of blood on the bed. I would've thought that the sheet color was originally red."

"So, the killer was here." Will said, "Could it be any more obvious?" I replied. 40 minutes later, officers arrived. One of them walked over to us. "To the right, the master bedroom is filled with blood stains, bleach, etc. One of the rooms has a blood stain on the floor. Nothing else was found."

"Got it, we'll recheck for anyone in the building and investigate the rooms." The officer said. "Alright, good luck." He went to the officers and told them the instructions.

They went into the building and began the investigation. "Let's go back to the office," I said, Will agreed and we headed over to his car.
