Carlo's POV
2 days passed and we only found Jessica Jhonson's body. "This guy keeps on sending us shit, I wouldn't be surprised if he sent himself to us in a package too!" Will said.
A knock on the door was heard, "Will, package for ya." Again?! "SEE!" Will said, he took the package and immediately opened it. "Hey! Be careful with that," I warned him.
He pulled out a mug from the package, "Oh...wait, I ordered this." Will said with an embarrassed face. "Seriously? Why would you add our office as the address?!" I asked.
"Because when it arrives I'll probably be at work, and maybe someone steals it from my doorstep or something!" He explained and hugged his mug.
I scoffed at his stupid response, "Whatever but, don't do that again!" I said. "Sure, sure." He replied. "Now, can you please put that mug down so we can get back to work?" I asked.
He put it down and we began discussing again. "Let's continue, as I said. Her body was found in an abandoned pool. She was killed by being stabbed by a fork. Here, you can see the marks on her body." I pointed at the image.
"That's how she died? That's it?" Will asked. "No, she died because of an alcohol overdose," I answered. "Ohh, so that explains why she was drunk."
"Yes, the killer gave her a couple of drinks before dropping her off at the nursery, and of course, they refused to give the baby. The mother left the nursery in anger and the killer abducted her again."
"What about Rebecca Woods? Did they find anything?" "No, they investigated around the campus but, nothing suspicious was found. They're going to search in other areas soon." "Soo, we're just not gonna track Sedrik too?" Will asked, "We have to find the bodies first, they're more important right now." "Yeah but, the longer we take to find him the more victims he kills."
"This killer is obviously moving slowly, Nolan's body was a few weeks old, and Jessica's body was about 5 days old."
"Listen, how about we let the AFD focus on tracking those bodies and we try to track Sedrik." Will said, "I'll think about it." I replied. "Come on! it's perfect, they're already searching for the body anyway and if there are any more bodies to look for this dude is gonna send more packages to apparently help us."
"Fine but, where do we even start? How do we track him?" I asked, "First off, we have to know if he's sending someone to send us these packages or if he's sending it himself." Will said, "And how do we do that?" I asked.
"Cameras, of course," Will said. "We can even place them right now," He got up and looked through the huge cabinet we had and pulled out 3 cameras. "We can add two at the front and one at the back."
"Okay then but, we're going to need someone tall enough," I told him, we left the room and went to the front of the building. We informed security what we were doing, "Hey look, there's a tall dude right across the street. We can ask him to help." Will said.
Will waved at the man to get his attention, then shouted "Hey! Can you help us with something?" He said the man took a moment to think and then walked over the empty street. "Sure, what you need help with?" The man said, "Just putting up these cameras over there," Will pointed. "But, we need someone tall enough." The man nodded, "I think I can do that." He said.
"Great! do you need a ladder?" Will asked, "No, just a box. Like that one over there." He pointed at the cardboard box thrown on the sidewalk. Will walked over to it and picked it up. He positioned it right beneath where the camera would be placed.
He handed him the camera and the man stood on the box, "Just stick it there, there's tape attached to it." Will instructed the man, and the man followed.
"Now press the small button behind it," The man pressed it and the camera made a beeping sound. "Perfect! I'll just check to see if it works." Will said, he took out his phone and opened an app. "Yep, it does. Look, that's us!" He showed me the screen.
He closed the app, "Okay, you can get down now." The man got down and pushed the cardboard box to the other side to repeat the same action.
"Thank you so much for helping, sir." Will thanked the man, "Yes, thank you." I thanked him too. "No problem." The man then walked away and disappeared.
"Let's go inside," I told Will, we went back inside to continue our work.
