Sedrik's POV

Nothing was left for me, it was just me, in this house which used to be me and my ex-wife's house who is now dead. Nolan is long gone, I have no idea about his whereabouts nor do  I want to consider looking for him at the moment.

I picked up the knife with frustration and walked to my wife's body. I looked at it in the state it's in before I put it in an even worse state. I lifted my hand and then stabbed her, right in the face. I felt some kind of joy, my stress started to vanish. My pace quickened with every stab.

No one could stop me at that moment. Soon enough, I got uninterested, not because of the stabbing, but because of stabbing my wife's body. I removed the knife from her chest and looked around the room to find anything to replace the knife.

The flower was perfect. The flower slides into the new hole in her chest and it fits perfectly. I wanted more. I wasn't satisfied. I had to find more victims, starting with the person whom I despised the most. Before I began my plan, I had to dispose of all the evidence that was left, except for the ones I didn't touch to make it seem like the person who killed my wife did it all.

In the final stage of cleaning the evidence I tried cleaning any possible fingerprints that were not supposed to be in some places, my ex-wife's phone buzzed. I looked at it before deciding to check. It was a text from "Roman", I was unfamiliar with this person. So, I read the text he sent that was written under his name. It read Can't wait to see you again next week, love you, xx. I was frozen. My ex-wife was cheating on me, this whole time?

My head turned to her body, and I took the knife once more, headed to her neck. And started slicing off her head, ruining all the time I spent on cleaning. I dumped her head in a bucket of bleach and the knife along with it too. All the time and emotions that were spent in this house will end today.

I left the house and to my car, driving away from the house, with no plans of ever coming back. I stopped at the local gas station because this was going to be the longest ride I would ever take. I was going to get a cigarette but, I left my pack at the house, leaving me no choice but to enter the small market because of how desperate I was.

No one was there except for me and some 5'10 guy standing beside the checkout. He had a cigarette in his mouth so he removed it to speak. "Yo, looking for a cig?" He called out to me while taking a cigarette out of his pack pointing it to my direction. I hesitate whether I should take it or not but, who says no to a free cigarette?

I reach my hand out but then, someone barges into  the store and flung the cigarette I was about to take. "No, he's good, thanks." The man said. He was wearing unordinary clothes so I was unable to identify who it was. "Come on, let's go." The voice of the man said. He was about to leave but I wasn't going anywhere with someone I don't know.

I stood in my spot causing the man to turn back. That's when I saw his face. Nolan? What's he doing here? and how did he find me? I looked at him with a puzzled face. "You coming or no?" He kept the eye contact with me. I decide to follow him because he probably needs something and I can't leave him alone.

He leads me to a place thats crowded with nature. "I want to team up." He says. Does he mean team up as in team up to find the killer or team up to be the killers? "I know your confused but trust me, I know what you did." What? He saw it? "What? Are you okay?" I ask him. "Yes, are you okay?" he asks back. "Her body is gone." he tells me.

I take a few steps back to keep my distance, "What do you mean? Whose body?" I acted clueless. "Oh come on, you think I won't be able to notice?" Of course he knows, he has been working with me for years. "What do you want," I asked him just to be sure I wasn't hallucinating when he asked me the first question.

"I told you, haven't I?" "Well, say it again. I didn't hear you the first time." A smile is slightly forming on his lips. "I want to team up, think of all the victims we could kill and get away with." He said. I kept silent. "No need to be skeptical about it." He reassured me, trying to convince me.

But, I wasn't thinking about teaming up. I mean, why would I want to team up with the person I planned to kill first anyway? This is the perfect opportunity. Were in the middle of nowhere, with no one to disturb us. "Taking quite long aren't we?" "Not for so long." I look around for any weapon. The lighter in my pocket. "Perfect," I muttered. Now, where should I start?
