Chapter 2

In break....

The group entered and settled themselves in the canteen and were waiting for Abhi.

Sid: Ye Abhay kaha reh gaya? Mai dekhke aaya.

Vaishneet nodded and Sid left the canteen in search of Abhi. Sid searched everywhere except the backyard. He was searching in backyard when he saw Abhi sitting under a tree, hugging his knees and hiding his face. Sid quickly ran towards Abhi and engulfed him in a hug. Abhi flinched. Sid sensed that and so he rubbed his back and caressed his hairs to calm Abhi.

Sid: Abhay, kya hua hai? Kyu ro raha hai? Kisine kuch bola tujhe? Tu sirf naam bata, na uski vaat lagai to mai bhi Siddharth nahi...

He was saying angrily but stopped when Abhi hugged him more tight. Sid too hugged him tightly and rubbed his back.

Sid (softly): Abhay, please bata. Tu apne Arth ko, apne bhai ko nahi batayega? Bata na, Abhay.

Abhi (while sobbing): Mumma Papa ki yaad aa rahi hai. Vo kyu chod gaye mujhe aise akele? Me-meri kya galti thi ki unhone mujhe itni badi saza di? Don't I deserve their love? D-do they hate me, Arth? Ye-yes they hate me. That's why they left me alone in this world when I was just 10. 

Sid: Abhay, relax. Don't cry yaar. I can't see you crying. And kisne bola ki Uncle Aunty hates you? No one hates you, Abhay. All loves you a lot. I swear.

Abhi (crying badly): No. If they would have loved me, they would have also taken me with them, just like they took Ashu. My Ashu! Wasn't God happy by snatching my parents from me, that he- he took away my Ashu too, leaving me all alone.

Sid: Abhay, you are not alone. We all are with you. We are like your family, Abhay. I know, we can't tak place of Uncle, Aunty and Ashu in your life. I don't know who he is, but he is special for you. Abhay, please kya tum bataoge ki kya hua tha jab tum 10 ke the? How did Uncle-Aunty passed away? And who is Ashu?

Sid asked softly to Abhi. He had tried to know about it previously also but Abhi always denied. Abhi shivered just at the thought of sharing the past. Sid realized Abhi shivering and rubbed his back to calm him. Abhi got some what calm. Sid sighed. It is very tough for him to make Abhi understand that he should share his past. Sid thought that he failed to make Abhi free around him and that's why Abhi is not sharing anything from his past.
