Chapter 14

They went and had a walk. One week passed like this only. For other students, it was same as of each day but for Abhi it wasn't the same. He was feeling insecure day by day. All thanks to that Sm who was continuously making Abhi go insecure. He was getting insecure even if he didn't see any of his friends for 5 minutes. Sm's words had badly affected Abhi. The group noticed it and they made sure that they assure Abhi that they are always there with him.

It was Sunday and the group decided to go to the nearby park to have a change of atmosphere and a stop to Abhi's insecurity for sometime. They were sitting under a tree and were chit chatting when someone approached them. Abhi's face fell seeing him.

Sm: Hi Sid, how are you?

Sid: Hey Raghav! I'm fine. How's you?

Sid asked with enthusiasm. Raghav smirked at Abhi who bit his lips. Vaishneet glared him.

Vaishu (in Avu's ears): Aa gaya kabab me haddi! I'm sure he is upto something.

Avu (to Vaishu): True. Aur ye Bandar kahika kaise uchal raha hai use dekhke. Isko to enthusiasm me Abhi ka utra chehra tak nahi dikha. Iski enthusiasm ki aisi ki taisi nahi ki to mai Avu nahi.

Abhi too heard their talks. His insecurity reaching its peak high.

Raghav: I'm fine. We met each other after a long time. Come let's talk. There are lot of things you should know. I want to share a lot with you.

Abhi looked at Sid but Raghav took Sid from there without even bothering to wait for his reply. But what broke Abhi's heart was that Sid too went with Raghav. Sid went as Raghav was one of his good friends. Vaishneet were fuming in anger by Sid's action. They had explained him nearly 100 times to stay away from Raghav, but Sid being Sid never took it seriously.

Raghav took Sid to an acqurate distance and started his so called acting.

Raghav: Sid, tu mere liye bhai jaisa hai. To mujhe bohot bura lagta hai jab koi bhi tujhe use karta hai to. I always hate it.

Sid (in confusion): Raghav, mujhe kon use kar raha hai?

Raghav: Dekh tu kitna bhola hai aur log tere isi bholepan ka fayda uthate hai unke swarth ke liye.

Sid: Raghav, kon fayda utha raha hai mera?

Raghav: Kon hoga? Tumhara vishwas nahi bethega mujhpe par Sid me sach keh raha hu.

Sid (slightly raised voice): Raghav, will you tell me clearly ki kya hua hai? Don't talk in puzzles.

Raghav smirked internally as he succeded in first step but showed an innocent face. 

Raghav: Sid, mere bhai. Tu itna accha aur handsome hai. Tu Abhishek se bilkul alag hai par phir bhi Abhishek ke saath humesha rehta hai.

Sid (not understanding his intentions): It's because vo mere Bhai jaisa hai.

Raghav (sugar coatedly): Sid, you're too innocent to know people. Tune nahi dekha ki Abhishek tujhe uski fame ke liye use kar raha hai par maine dekha hai. Sid, tujhe pata hai sab Abhishek se bohot pyaar karte hai. Everyone loves him for his calm nature. Par asal baat to ye hai ki sab Abhishek ko teri bajese pasand karte hai. As tu thoda short-tempered hai and vo calm, par phir bhi tum bhai jaise ho. Matlab opposite personalities hoke bhi you're like one. Abhishek shows that he is the only one who can handle you. Everyone loves the way he calms you. Dekh tujhe bura lag sakta hai par yahi sacchai hai ki, vo tere saath isiliye hai kyuki tujhse use popularity milti hai isiliye vo tujhe khona nahi chahta hai. Mai tere bhale ke liye hi tujhe ye bata raha hu.

He said in a very sugar coated and manipulative manner. And Sid being short-tempered, and thinking Raghav as a good friend, fall in his trap. Sid easily got manipulated. He believed Raghav's words easily as they made him remembered the incidents where Abhi calmed him and students as well as teachers praised him for that. Sid was fuming in anger.

Without thinking anything, he marched towards Abhi in anger and caught hold of Abhi's collar. Abhi as well as Vaishneet flinched by his sudden action. They were shocked seeing Sid in this much anger. Sid's hot breathe, touching Abhi's neck, made Abhi slightly shiver in fear. Raghav, who was seeing all this from distance, smirked seeing Abhi's condition. Sid left Abhi's collar harshly. Raghav got confused. Before anyone of them could say anything, Sid slapped Abhi hard. Abhi's eyes became teary and he put his hand on his cheek where Sid slapped him. Vaishneet gasped while Abhi was beyond hurt. Raghav's smirked widened. He had not expected Sid to slap Abhi. Sid started venting out his anger on Abhi with harsh as well as bad words.

Sid: I never ever thought in my wildest dreams that you can be so selfish, Abhishek. I hate you. I hate you to the core. I am regreting making you and treating you like my brother. I hate you.

He left from there in anger. Abhi was numb. He was not uttering a word nor a tear felt from his eye after that. Vaishneet were very angry on Sid for his selection of his words. But right now, their first priority was Abhi. Before they could say anything, Abhi left from there.
