I'm pretty out of it the whole time. The cuts and slashes all over me are screaming in pain along with my ankle. When we get there he crouches down and I stagger off. Ezra shifts back and grabs me as I stumble, about to fall. He picks me up and carries me over to the hot spring.
He sets me down and says "I'll be right back. I'm going to get the salves and bandages. Just stay still, ok."
With that, Ezra goes out of my sight. After a few seconds he comes back. He sets the stuff down and uses a claw to cut my shirt open. He then uses a scrap of cloth and water from the bath to get some of the blood off. After that he puts the salves on the wounds and dresses them. He picks me up again and brings me over to where we had been sleeping. Setting me down Ezra then goes over to the wardrobe and returns with a shirt.
He helps me into it and says "Now, we still need something to eat so I'm going to go hunting."
As I start to protest Ezra says "No, you're hurt. You can not help. All you need to do is heal, ok? Here, I can get you the skins you have cured and you can sew them together while I'm gone."
I say with a sigh "Ok, thank you. Just be careful."
He smiles and after getting the furs and tools I need says "I'll be back soon. I promise." With that Ezra leaves the cave and transforms into his wolf form.
