Twelve Years had passed since Cy and Taylor got married. Katie-Lynn would go into nursing school and eventually become a nurse. Ellie-May would study science and get a job at the local laboratories. At eighteen Chloe would start working in the organization the same way Cyrus had when he had first moved there all those years ago. Through a simple test Chloe was put on the same path that Cyrus was when he was a teenager and tried to hide it from Cy who found out and tried to move her up the ranks to work with him and Kimberly but she declined and said she'd make her own way.

Several months had passed since Cy found out about Chloe working for the organization. Chloe went to Cys office and knocked on the door. "Hey sweetheart, come on in" Cy said getting up to hug her. "Hey dad, I was wondering if you wanted to go get lunch?" Chloe asked. "Sure, just sit down while I finish some paperwork, then we can get going" Cy said sitting back down. The two sat for a while then Chloe broke the silence and asked how Cy met Alice. "Do you remember your entrance exam they gave you to get your job, that's how we met" Cy said. "When did you decide to ask her out?" Chloe asked. "A few weeks later, we used to sit while waiting on our boss to finish his work and talk and she asked me out and a few years after we married and had you" Cy said as he finished his work, "Okay now we can go".

Cy and Chloe got to the restaurant and sat down and the owner came out and greeted the two. "Cyrus long time no see," the owner said to Cyrus. "Tony my friend, how are you?". "Doing good, here's some menus I'll be back to take your order" Tony said walking away. "Who was that?" Chloe asked. "I used to have to pick up protection money from his old boss, so I got to know him while I did my job, and when I took over the organization he decided to open this place with a little help from me, now we have a friend who knows how to handle himself and is on our turf" Cy said raising his hand to call Tony over. "I realized I didn't introduce you, Tony this is my daughter Chloe, Chloe this is Tony" Cy said introducing the two. The three sat and talked after ordering their food. "I'll tell you the same thing I told your father, you ever need anything I'm your guy" Tony said.

Cy and Chloe ate then sat for a while talking as he watched two people walk into the restaurant and go to threaten Tony. "We're here to collect our protection fee" the men said. "Who am I paying to protect me?" Tony asked, "this is organization turf". "After tonight it'll all belong to the Murphys" the man said. Tony shot Cy a look to get him out of there. "I'll stay here and tail them wherever they go," Chloe said. Cy nodded then quietly walked towards the kitchen where Tony's wife walked him through the back. "Who are those thugs?" Cy asked. "Part of some new gang in town, they think they're in control of the whole city" the wife said. "Thank you for the meal, tell Tony I'm sorry I couldn't personally stay to help out" Cy said paying for his and Chloe's meals then headed back to his office.

A little while passed and Chloe drove to the office and told him what she found out. "They're called the Murphys, I was able to track them to their bosses hideout" Chloe said. "We wait till Kim gets here then make a plan I already called her and she's on her way" Cyrus said "just sit down and wait till she does get here". "We should order a few men and go now" Chloe said. "Sit down and wait" Cyrus repeated louder. Chloe sat down a few minutes until Kim showed up. Chloe once again explained what happened and what she saw. "So we send a few men, and take out their boss" Kim said. "I'll get some of my people together and we'll take care of it" Chloe said. "I'm coming too" Cy said making sure his pistol was loaded then getting his shotgun.

Chloe called her men and waited for them to show up. "Listen, don't address me as your dad or the boss, today I'm a hired gun call me Carl in front of the men" Cy said as they sat waiting. "Carl?" Chloe asked. "It's an alias, If I ever need to get out of town quick I'll go by Carl" Cy said, "its always good to have an alias ready,". A few minutes passed and the others showed up. Chloe made the introductions then went over the plan. "Do we really need a hired gun?" One of Chloes men asked. "The order came down from the top, the boss wants him here so here we are, now lets get going" Chloe said as she got into the van "hired gun your up front with me". Cy climbed in and waited for the others to get in.

Chloe drove to the hideout and everyone got out. "Split into twos and hit them from every side, Carl your with me, let's do this people" Chloe said as she walked towards the doors with Cy following. The two went through the building shooting their way through. "Im out of ammo for this" Cy said putting his shotgun on his shoulder as he pulled his pistol out and continued fighting. Chloe and Cy got to a hallway that split in two. "You go that way I'll go this way" Cy said with Chloe nodding then running ahead. Cy went down the hall and had one of Chloes men walk up behind him and say "Mister Jackson wait". Cyrus stopped and looked at the man pointing his gun at him "your shotgun please" the man said. "It's empty, Cy Said pulling the shotgun off his shoulder and tossing it to him. "Now let's go my boss wants to meet you" the man said pushing Cy forward. Cy pulled his gun out and shot the man then continued to the bosses office.

Cy walked up the stairs and saw two guards outside and took them out then went inside the office. The boss shot Cyrus several times and then went to him and threw him over the desk. "Since I was a kid I always dreamed of running a city mister Jackson" the boss said walking over to him, "and I got a crew together and decided to take over your city, all I had to do was find who ran it". Cy sat down trying to catch his breath as the man went around the desk to beat him. "I was going to hit you tonight but you just so happened to overhear my boys talking and decided to come to me" the boss said as he hit Cyrus. Chloe came up the hall to hear the man talking to Cyrus and came in and shot him in the back of the head. Cy threw the man off of him and tried to get to her but fell onto the floor.

Chloe went to pick him up before seeing all the blood he'd lost. "you remind me so much or your mother, I don't think I'm going to make it out of this one, so tell your mom and sisters I love them" Cy said with labored breaths "I love you Chloe, and I'm so proud of the woman you've become". "Come on dad, we can make it out and get you to a hospital" Chloe said walking with Cy. "Chloe, put me down so we can talk" Cy smiled at Chloe and said "get out of here, you take over for me, tell the family what I said and never forget that I love you," Cy said wiping Chloes tears and holding her hand before he slumped over. "I love you too" Chloe said letting go of Cyrus then running to the van where her remaining men were and tossing one of them the keys and telling them to drive back to the office. "You're all dismissed go home, you'll be paid for the job within the week" Chloe said as she went to her office. As she walked in Kim greeted her and Chloe broke down. Kim saw the blood and realized what had happened and said "Oh God sweetheart I'm so sorry" as she got up to hug her. "The problem is taken care of, but dads gone" Chloe said. "Let's get you home, your mom and sisters need to know what happened" Kim said helping her to the car. Kim called Taylor and said to call the kids to get home so they could tell them all what happened.
