Kim and Chloe got to the house before Katie and Ellie and walked inside to tell Taylor "Sweetheart what's wrong, why are you all bloody," Taylor asked, "Kim where's Cyrus". "Taylor I need you to sit down, we have some bad news" Kim said tearing up. A minute passed and Kim explained what happened through tears. Taylor went to Chloe and hugged her while crying "Oh baby im sorry you had to be there for that". A little while passed and Katie-Lynn and Ellie-May got there "girls come sit down we have to tell you" Taylor said. They explained what happened then sat for a while. "Kim don't tell your parents yet, let the police come and then I'll call them" Taylor said, "Chloe run upstairs and shower and I'll get you a change of clothes". After a few hours passed and police officers came and told the Taylor the news then went in to ask some questions. "One final question do you have any clue as to why your husband was there?" An officer asked. "My husband said he had a meeting today," Taylor said "that's probably why he was there,". The police thanked Taylor for her time then left. A few minutes passed and Taylor called Cy's parents to tell them the news.

A few days passed and the family made plans for a funeral that would happen later that week. "I got in touch with aunty Ashley, she said she's going to try to make it out for the funeral" Chloe said to Kim. "Okay cool, I haven't talked to her since she moved" Kim said. "You two were close when I young, what happened between you two?" Chloe asked. "Her and I used to be a couple, we had planned to leave then your dad gave me the opportunity to join him and I decided to stay and asked her to stay with me, and here we are today" Kim replied. "Teach me what I need to know and I'll take over" Chloe said "you can go wherever you want and not worry about anything related to the buisness". "Right now isn't a good or the right time to talk about this" Kim said. "One of the last things he told me to do was to take over for him, I want you to train me then you can do whatever" Chloe said. "I'll think about it" Kim said.

A few days passed and Alice's family had waited for Ashley at their house and took her to a small gathering at Cy's parent's house. "Good to see you guys come on in" Jack said hugging the Johnsons. "Mister Harrison I'm sorry for your loss," Ashley said hugging Jack as she walked in then went to talk to Carrie. "Thank you for coming out, Kim and Taylor will be here soon, and the kids are out back already" Carrie said hugging Ashley. "Okay, thank you miss Harrison" Ashley said walking out to see the Chloe, Katie, and Ellie "it's so good to see all of you, you've all grown so much". The kids hugged her and they sat talking for a while "I've kept track of what you girls have been up to but I'm still a little fuzzy what are your jobs?" Ashley asked. "I'm a physicist," Ellie said. "I'm an ER nurse" Katie said. "I work for aunty Kim" Chloe said. The door opened and out came Taylor saying "Ashley, it's so good to see you,". Ashley stood up and hugged Taylor and gave her condolences. "Thank you, Kim is out front if you want to talk to her" Taylor said.

Kim sat outside smoking a cigarette and reminiscing on times she had with Cyrus over the years when she heard the sound of a lighter being ignited then someone take a long drag off of a cigarette. Kim turned to see Ashley standing next to her parents car smoking as well. "I'm sorry for your loss," Ashley said breaking the silence "he was like a brother to me too, I remember us hanging out with him and Alice,". Kim finished her cigarette with a long drag and said "I remember a lot from those days too, do you want to hang out like you and I used when we were teenagers?". "What taking booze out of one of our parents cabinets and going out to the mountains?" Ashley asked. "No, well not the stealing booze part but just hanging out looking up at the sky then eventually coming back down and getting dinner or something" Kimberly said. "Sure," Ashley said finishing hers up before going back in with Kim.

The day of the funeral came and the family went to the church. Friends and family of Cyrus offered their condolences. The priest did his sermon then they went to the cemetery next to Alice's burial site and buried Cys urn. "Would anyone like to say a few words?" The priest asked after they buried him. "Cyrus didn't always have an easy life, he came to us when he was young and I raised him as my own, he made his own way through life, started a family, and made a life of his own," Jack said, "Cyrus my son, I'm proud of the man you were, may you rest in peace". The funeral goers had a moment of silence then Jack invited everyone there to a luncheon. Everyone slowly left and Chloe stood at her parents graves for a minute when Kim came up to her and said she'd teach Chloe what she needs to know. Chloe nodded then walked to her car and went to join her family at the luncheon.
