A month had passed since Cy and Taylor got engaged and they started planning a wedding. "Hey hon, dad wants to do a dinner with just the three of us to talk wedding" Taylor said. "Alright cool, I'll see if we can leave the kids with my parents" Cy said as they got ready for bed. The next morning came and cy said "I'll take the kids to school then be home by three so we can go". "Okay, we'll also pick up a bottle of wine to take with us" Taylor said getting out of bed Cy kissed her cheek then went to wake the girls to get them ready.

Half a day passed and Taylor and Cy took the kids to his parents then went to a grocery store to buy a bottle of wine. Whilst in the store Cyrus noticed a nurse who had worked with Alice during her second pregnancy. Cy walked up to talk to her and she looked like she'd seen a ghost and apologized profusely. "Why are you Apologizing?" Cyrus asked. "I'll tell you but it has to be outside" the woman said. Cyrus told Taylor about the situation and the two went outside with the woman. "My name is Tammy Key, as you know I'm a nurse, and I was approached by a man who went by mr Thompson who threatened me and my family if I didn't poison your wife, I don't know why he did but he wanted her dead and I had no choice he was going to kill me and my mother if I didnt" Tammy said crying. "Is this the man" Taylor said showing her a picture of Fred. "Yes," Tammy said crying. "Pack a bag and leave town and stop practicing medicine, if I hear that you stay, come back, go to the police, or continue to be a nurse wherever you go I will find you and put you through more pain than my wife did because of you" Cyrus said "now get out of here, and don't come back".

"I can't believe he was stupid enough to use his actual name and show his face" Taylor said getting in the car, "I'm sorry". "Don't be," Cyrus said getting into the car "you didn't do this". The two got to Fred's house "let's make sure she's telling the truth before we do anything" Cyrus said putting his gun in the glove box. The two went in and found him in his study. "Sweetheart, Cyrus I wasn't expecting you for another hour" Fred said. "Did you make a woman named Tammy kill my wife?" Cyrus asked. "Did she tell you that?" Fred asked. "Answer the question dad" Taylor said. "If I did I did it for you, I was tired of seeing you alone and the kids without their father" Fred said. "You could have told me about her and the kids without killing Alice asshole" Cy said.

"I brought you into my world, if your wife didn't get killed you'd have still been working under Tompkins, or found out that you killed Bennett and then your wife , your daughter, and you would be dead for killing your boss" Fred said, "I knew about his 'accident' but I knew who you were and how much you meant to Taylor so I said nothing and waited then set your wife's death into motion". As Fred finished his sentence Taylor took a pistol out of her purse and shot him in the chest. Thompson looked down at the hole in his chest then up at his daughter who shot him again until she emptied the magazine. "I'm sorry, I understand if you don't want to get married anymore or even stay with me" Taylor said dropping her pistol and sobbing. "You didn't do anything wrong, if anything you proved to me how much you care" Cyrus said wiping her tears and picking up her pistol and walking her out. A little while passed and Cy got a few of his men to dispose of Fred's body and put someone to tail Tammy wherever she goes. That night Cy laid in bed with Taylor looking up at the ceiling when he broke the silence saying "I'm going to tell my family about work and everything". "If that's what you want, we can do that" Taylor said with her head on his chest. "I'll tell them tomorrow after we pick the kids up, I'll take us all out to get ice cream afterwards" Cy said turning off the light and going to sleep.

The next day Cyrus called his parents and asked if he could come over, then texted Kimberly and told her to be home after school as he had something to discuss with her and the family. The time for Cy and Taylor to pick up the kids then went to Cy's parents house. "Go up to your guy's play room and start your homework" Cy said as they got there. "What's going on son?" Jack asked. "Well for the passed six years I've been working with the organization and was being prepped by Fred Thompson so I could take over" Cy said, "as you know I'm running his company and the organization is his company, and now I'd like to offer you all the opportunity to work with me running it and to move closer to our house, and of course with Kim graduating soon it could be good to have this". "No thank you son, we're proud of you and glad you feel safe enough to tell us this but we can't take your offer, we're comfortable where we are now" Carrie said. Kim looked at Cyrus when he brought up the opportunity but kept silent. "Okay, would any of you like to join us for ice cream?" Cy asked. "No thank you, Kim do you want to go?" Jack asked. "Sure, I'll go with them, Kim said standing up and hugging their parents then going to get ready. "We'll be back soon" Cy said hugging his parents then going to get the kids. The family went out to the car and Taylor told Kim to sit up front with Cy.

"So you want in then?" Cy asked as he drove them go the I've cream shop. "What would I be doing?" Kim said. You'll be working under me, I'll train you with all that I know and you'll run it with me" Cy said, "pays good, hours are great, all in all a good deal". "Let me think on it" Kim said as Cy continued towards the ice cream shop. The family pulled up and gave Cy their orders then went to sit down while Cyrus ordered with Kim staying with him. The ice cream was ready quick and Cyrus and Kim walked to the table and handed everyone their ice cream. A while passed and the family were ready to go home. "I'm in" Kim said as they walked to the car. "Okay, I'll start teaching you soon and when you graduate you'll be ready" Cy said as they got in the car and took Kim home then went home themselves.

A few months had passed since Cy confessed to his family. "We're going to have a early summer wedding" Taylor said during dinner with Cy's family. "Well that's good, that still gives us time to get everything together," Carrie said, "are you guys doing a honeymoon?". "We're planning on taking a short vacation once we're married" Cy said. A few hours passed and Cy and the family left and Kim told her parents she was going to go watch a movie but going to Cys to start her training. Cy dropped off his family at home then drove to the office building where he had first been recruited by Bennett. "This is where I met Alice and started my journey," Cy said "to think that six years later I'd run the company lose alice and a hand in the process". Kim followed Cy down to the shooting range where he handed her his pistol, "do you remember how to shoot a pistol?" Cyrus asked. "Sort of, it's been a while since we went hunting" Kim said. "Well in our line of work, knowing how to use a gun and fight could be the difference between life or death" Cy said.

The two spent some time there then Kim dropped Cy off and headed home herself. "How'd it go?" Taylor asked as Cyrus walked in. "Good, I think she'll be ready by the time she graduates" Cy said. "That's good" Taylor said playing a game with the kids. Cy sat down and watched the family play the game until it was the kids bedtime then put them to bed. "Let's watch a little TV then head up to bed," Taylor said. Cy nodded and sat down and watched TV then headed to bed. Several more months passed and Cy and Taylor got married and took the kids on vacation and left Kim in charge of things while they went away.
