Babysitting for Niall Horan

Chapter 16

Avery POV

After lunch we came back I stayed around the living room hanging out with Niall a bit because Lilly fell asleep. Niall and I were just catching up. He was telling what happened while he was on tour for the past month and how he is going to stay here for a week before going back on tour.

"By the way when I put my suitcases away in my room I saw that someone had cleaned my room. Do you know who could that be?" he asked and I gave him a shy smile

I thought I would be a nice person and clean Niall since it was so messy. He would keep it messy before he goes to a meeting or do something for work. Since he doesn't have time one day Maura took Lilly because I had to study for my exams. I had few hours to spare and I decided to clean his room. I thought he would come back in June so he could see it but I didn't know he would come early.

"Maybe I did. But do you like it? Is it clean?" I asked him

"I like it Avery but you didn't have to do that. I only pay you to watch Lilly. You don't have to clean my room or the kitchen or anything" he said

"Niall do you know what a babysitter does?" I asked him

"They watch the kids while the parent goes to work" he said

"Not only that. They watch the kids also they do things around the house while you the parents have fun with the kid" I told him

"Oh. I didn't know that" he said and I smiled

"Of course you didn't but that's what they do" I told him

"Thanks for telling me that but you didn't have to clean my room or the house" he said and I shrugged

"Lilly was at your mums house and I had a few hours left before studying again so I decided to do something nice for you" I told him

"You did something nice for me and thank you" he said as he pulled me into his arms to make me squeal a bit because I didn't know he was going to do that and I looked at him

"How may I help you?" I asked him and he looked at me

"What? Can I cuddle with my best friend?" he asked me and I giggled

"Yes you can but you supposed to warn her before you hug the life out of her and two we can't cuddle right now because I need to get ready" I told him

"It's 2 and graduation doesn't start until 6. You have time" he said

"Niall do you know how long does a girl get ready? I don't need the only person to get ready. I need help Lilly to get ready too" I told him

"I know but can you get ready in like one hour. I need to cuddle for my best friend for a moment" he said

"Fine. You're lucky because I missed you. Did you know a month is a long time you know" I told him and he chuckled

"Yeah I know. Do you know how long I've been doing this like leaving Lilly and Alexa before?" he asked me and I smiled at him

"You miss her don't you?" I asked him

"Who?" he asked

"Alexa? You missed her don't you?" I asked him

"Yes I do. You have no idea" he said

"Have you told Lilly about her since she is Lilly's mother?" I asked him

"Not really. She is still young. I haven't told Lilly what happened to her mum. She still think she's alive. I feel like I want to tell her when she is older" he said

"Do you know what I think?" I asked him and he looked at me

"Sure. Tell me what I should do" he said
