Niall POV
"Where's my niece?" is the first thing Louis asked when I came into the rehearsal room
"Thanks mate. Feeling the love right now" I told him as I sat beside Tara
"You're welcome" he said
"Yeah. But where is Lilly?" Tara asked me and I looked at her
"Really? Does no one care about me?" I asked jokingly
"Nope" Tara said and i playful shoved her to make her chuckle
"Is she with your mum?" Alex asked
"No" I told him
"Then where is she? You didn't leave her at home by herself did you?" John asked
"No I didn't. She is with a babysitter" I told them and they looked at me
"So she is with Avery?" Jake asked me and I nodded
"And who's this Avery person?" Tara asked me and I sighed because I know she wants to know about life if it is involved with girls
"She is a girl who is watching Avery" I told her
"And the same girl that Niall, Louis, and I helped rescue her" Jake said and I nodded
"Oh that Avery. Wait. Is she okay?" Tara asked me and I smiled
"Yes she is. I feel bad leaving her to watch Lilly since she still hurting. Even though she won't show it. I know she is still hurting in the inside" I told her
"She must have a terrible life before you came around" Tara said
"You don't even know" I told her
"And I'm guessing you like this girl" Tara said
"Yes he does" Jake said and I playfully glared at him
I don't know if I do because I just literally met her and also she is still hurt from what her father did to her. Avery does look pretty and beautiful. She connects with me and gets what I am saying. I don't know I feel like I still need to wait because of the stuff that she is going through.
"Maybe but I don't know I still think I have to wait till I tell her I like her because she did have a pretty rough life. I just want to be there for her as a friend at the moment and then maybe later on I will tell her that I like her" I told them
"I think you should that. Considering about how her life was. Do you have a picture of her?" Tara asked me
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and went through my camera roll. I found a picture of Avery, Lilly, and I. Lilly demanded a selfie with Avery so I took one with all of us.
"Aww she is pretty. Maybe even prettier than me and never say that to any girl pictures I see" Tara said and I chuckled
"She is pretty" I told her
"So you admitted that you think she is pretty?" Alex asked me
"Yes I do but I can't tell her that I like her just yet because of everything that she is going through. Maybe later on I'm going to tell her" I told her
"She looks young. Does she go to school?" Tara asked me as she handed my phone back
"Yeah she does. She goes to school Tuesday and Wednesday" I told her and she nodded
"Oh is this the same girl you told me to pick out clothes for?" Tara asked
"Yes. By the way is the package going to my place today?" I asked her
