Chapter 41: Mindless Hunger, Death To All~

Outside in the fields of Ruel's friend's home. Percedel was dodging and rolling away from your attacks, slamming and slashing at him, causing more destruction behind while Evangelyne does her best to get your attention with her bow, but proved to be unaffected.

Evangelyne: Come on, (y/n)... I know you can hear us, we're not trying to-

(y/n): You really need to quit yapping the same damn words, Elf!

You turn towards Evangelyne, causing her to freeze as you stare into her soul in your horrific monster form. The blades on the back of your hands flip as you swung both hands, Evangelyne's eyes widen before she quickly jumped, barely dodging the large blades as she lands on the grass and fired an ice arrow to the eye.

Evangelyne: I won't stop till you're cured and back to normal, (y/n)!

Percedel: What she said!

You shook your head before slamming your palm into your eye sockets, smashing the ice off as your deep, dark chuckle is heard.

(y/n): Normal? Being kind and not tear flesh between my teeth is normal to you? HEHEHE~

You slammed your wrist blades deep into the floor as a barrage of blades bursts from the floor, heading straight towards Evangelyne and Percedel, the two dodged out of the way of the barrage of blades before Percedel rushed towards you with Rubilax in hand.

Rubilax: Come on! I want to take this guy down for humiliating me!

Percedel jumped and leaped into the air, raising Rubilax over his head as he attempts to swing his sword at you, but you deflected and launched Percedel away from you with one of your wrist blade as Percedel crashes into the small corn field that surrounds the damaged house.

Evangelyne: Hey, (y/n)!

Two ice arrow hit the back of your head as you slowly turned around and see Evangelyne, aiming her ice arrow once again and fired as you tilt your head to the side as the arrow flee past your head.

(y/n): If you think small sticks will stop me... I'll show you what will do the trick.

You slowly raised both hands before clashing them together, causing a earthquake and a powerful booming sound wave. Evanglyne immediately closed her ears after hearing such powerful boom.

Evangelyne: Agh!

She cried before opening her eyes and spotted a small orb with red electricity courses around it between your hands.

(y/n): Heheh... I shall... Destroy this world... And take the souls for me... To DEVOUR!!!

You said as the Orb began to slowly grow and grow large, creating a tremor and shock wave as Evangelyne falls on her knees after losing balance as she looks up at you in horror...

Evangelyne: (y/n)! NO!

(y/n): Hmmm?

Suddenly... The orb shrunk and vanished after an odd smell entered your nose...

(y/n): That... Smell...

You begin sniffing out the smell... It was an odd scent... Yet... So familiar to you...

(y/n): What scent is this... I never smelt anything like this... Yet... It's... Familiar to me, like... I smelt this scent before... Hmm?

Evangelyne then watch you slowly turned your head and stared out into the distance... And in that direction, a flying figure is seen. Evanglyne spots the flying figure before realizing what it is.

Evangelyne: Its Ruel and Yugo, they must have found the sap! Huh?

Evangelyne sees you slowly raised a hand as an orb forms in your hand and aims straight towards Yugo and Ruel on their flying creature.

(y/n): This smell... Whatever or whoever it is... Shall be eradicated!

As you continued to aim towards the flying figure, your aim seems to be a little shaky... But before you can fire the dark orb, two ice arrows struck your two eye sockets, interrupting your aim as the orb vanishes once again.

Evangelyne looks over and watches Ruel and Yugo safely land in front of the house on their frying creature. The Cra sighed in relief before suddenly a large hand grabs Evangelyne in a tight grasp before being lifted up and hovered in front of you.

(y/n): Why bother? When death is unavoidable, Elf~

Evanglyne: I-I don't know what that word means but (y/n), you have to stop! This isn't you- AAAAAHHHHH!

Evangelyne was learned into the air after you threw her upwards, you watch her ascend before slowly began descending as you slowly open your monstrous jaws and waited for Evangelyne to land into your mouth for a brutal snack... However, before Evanglyne was just so close to being an elf snack, a large green vine swooped and caught Evangelyne in the air and pulled her away from you.

(y/n): Huh?

Then, more large vines bursts from the ground and wrapped itself around your legs, arms and head, forcing your mouth open before you fell onto your back and was restrained there on the ground.

???: Thank goodness we made it in time!

Evangelyne, who was gently placed back onto the ground, turned her head to see Yugo, Ruel and a cured and well Amalia who used her magic to save Evangelyne and restrain you.

Yugo: W-What is that thing?!

Yugo asked with a concerned look on his face before Evangelyne answered his question.

Evangelyne: It's (y/n)...

Yugo/Amalia: (Y-Y/N)?!?

The Cra nodded her head before turning towards you, restrained and you're mouth kept wide open by the vines. She then turns towards Yugo and Ruel and spoke.

Evangelyne: I hope you two brought enough of that sap to bring him back.

Ruel: Uggh and I was hoping to save these bottles of the sap and make profit off them... Ugh...

Ruel said as he turns and began walking towards you.

Ruel: Uh... Yugo, come help me, in case he tries to bite me!

Yugo: Ok!

As the two walked towards you to cure I with the sap, both Evangelyne and Amalia stood next to each other before they hugged and Evangelyne asked.

Evangelyne: How are you feeling, princess?

Amalia: Much better now. Is (y/n)... Going to be ok?

Evangelyne: I... I hope so.

The two girls turn towards you, concerned looks in their eyes as Amalia then had a confused look.

Amalia: Wait a minute... Aren't we missing someone?

Evangelyne: Oh my gosh! Where's Percedel? I saw (y/n) threw him in the fields somewhere!

As Evangelyne and Amalia looks around... Everything fades to black as the title "Wakfu" appeared as the title is untouched and peaceful silence fills the air.
