Forbidden love

A love that's forbidden, a heart that's torn,
A girl who's in love, but cannot be reborn.
Her family won't accept, her love for another,
Her heart is breaking, she can't help but suffer.

The girl she loves, is the one she adores,
But she's homophobic, and her love she abhors.
She'll punch anyone, who loves her the same,
And the girl who loves her, is left in shame.

The girl she loves, has a boyfriend now,
And the girl who loves her, can't help but frown.
Her heart is shattered, and she's in pain,
But the girl she loves, won't love her again.

The girl who loves, decides to punish herself,
For loving someone, who won't love her back.
She starves herself, and self-harms in stealth,
Her heart is broken, and her world turns black.

But love is not a sin, nor is it wrong,
It's a feeling that's pure, and makes us strong.
And though the girl she loves, may never see,
The love that's inside, and what it means to be free.

The girl who loves, must find a way,
To love herself, and to live each day.
For love will come again, and it will stay,
And her heart will heal, in its own way.

This is actually about my love life. And I still love that girl :) she's perfect.
