Lost in the shadows, I wander alone
Heart heavy with sorrow, my spirit unknown
The world around me, a blur of gray
As I stumble through life, day by day
I once had a love, so pure and true
But now she is gone, and I don't know what to do
Her memory haunts me, in every dark corner
And I wonder if I'll ever find my way out of this mourner
The nights are the worst, when the shadows grow long
And I'm left with my thoughts, to ponder what went wrong
I try to move on, to find a new light
But the darkness within me, refuses to take flight
So I wander and wander, lost in the abyss
A soul without purpose, a heart without bliss
But still I hold on, to a glimmer of hope
That someday, somehow, I'll find a way to cope
Until then, I'll keep walking, through the shadows and gloom
Hoping that one day, I'll find my way out of this room
And maybe, just maybe, I'll find a new love
And leave behind the shadows, that I've been dreaming of.
