Tried to move on

She thought she found love, in a man so true,
She moved in with him, what else could she do?
But he cheated on her, with another girl,
And her heart was shattered, in a cruel whirl.

She tried to move on, with another guy,
But he left her too, without a goodbye.
Her heart was broken, and her spirit low,
She didn't know, where else to go.

But then she remembered, the girl she loved,
The one who was always, in her heart and blood.
She knew it would hurt, every single day,
But she decided to love her, in her own way.

She knew it was forbidden, and could never be,
But her heart still longed, for the girl to see.
The love that was inside, and how it burned,
For the girl she loved, and how she yearned.

Every time she thought of her, it hurt so much,
But she knew deep down, it was worth the touch.
The touch of her heart, and the love inside,
The love that was pure, and could never hide.

So she decided to stay, in love with the girl,
Even if it hurt, and made her heart swirl.
For love is a gift, that's meant to be shared,
And the girl she loves, will always be there.

Even if it's forbidden, and can never be,
The girl who loves, will always see.
The beauty inside, and how it glows,
For the girl she loves, and how it flows.
