Chapter X

Channings POV

"Channing wait!"

Moments ago I burst threw the hospital, leaving Eveyone in confusion.

She has cancer? Mom doesn't deserve it, bad things always happen to good people and I'm sick of it. Sick of all the bad things and people in this world.

"Babe wait, please."

I was feeling dizzy and put my head on the car facing the window.

"Im fucking sick of all the bad things that happen." I said angrily. "My moms a good person and all that happens to her is bad things."

"You gotta be brave for her channing, show her your strong. She hates seeing you sad."

I looked into her eyes. Joanna looked really worried about me. I sighed.

"Look, cancer for her is a wakeup call, she wants to spend all the time she has with you. You can't always worry about her channing because she doesn't want you to worry. Please do it, for her."

I gave her a small smile. I love her, she always sees the bright side of things.

"Your right, Lets go home." I said as my aunt came out.

"Channing dear are you alright?" Aunt wilma asked.

I nodded and we went home.

Joanna's POV

Channing led me to our room and we saw his sister snooping around.

"What the hell are you doing?" He yelled.

"Looking for that $20 you owed me since we were kids." She smirked.

I laughed and channing gave me the 'are you on my side or hers' look.

"See even your girlfriend agrees." Liz said. "Do you like shopping?" She asked randomly.

"I live to go shopping." I said in all seriousness. "Why?"

"Im just getting that kind of vibe." She giggled.

Channing imitated her giggle.

"Shut up." Liz pushed him. Channing pushed her back.

"World star!" I yelled and they rolled there eyes.

"Oh yeah and pa asked me to give you this." Liz said and walked out.

I read the paper over his shoulder.

Drive- in movie night.

Awe thats romantic, I'm glad he's taking me.

Suddenly he tossed it in the trash.

I stared at him in disbelief.

"What?" He asked clueless.

I picked up the flyer for the movie.

"Oh you really wanna go?"

"Duh. There romantic and I get to spend time with you."

"There lame anyways. Plus there showing some lame movie."

"Its not lame! C'mon please?"

Channing sighed "I guess."

I smiled and crawled into bed with him and watched tv.

"Baby hurry up." I heard channing yell from downstairs.

I couldn't find my black uggs. I was wearing the same outfit as before but i was wearing sweatpants instead.

"I'm coming!" I went downstairs and we got into Channings dads pick-up truck thingie and left.
