"I'll help you with this, it isn't complicated," Jimin turned from that gaze trying to stay calm while explaining the subject.

Kook nodded when he took the pen out of the boy's hand writing over the notebook concentrating on the numbers only, ignoring the goosebumps all over his skin. His roommate was completely quiet, watching the equations he was scribbling down when time seemed to be frozen and Jimin's heartbeat was playing crazy, his nostrils moving a bit closer to the scent glade he would gladly fall into, but it would mean to fall completely, tear down clothes and beg the boy to take him mindlessly like in his dreams, when he wasn't even sure if a sweet omega like Kook could do that, not like his brother...

"Finished!" Jimin slammed the pen on the notebook when Kook looked up at him all stunned.

"Um... I still don't understand," he muttered.

"I... I have to go wash," Jimin grabbed the door knob storming out of the room, as far away from here and his rough thoughts, as far from that secret cherry scent as possible.

Was Jimin into him, Jungkook couldn't focus on the lessons at all the next day. Last night when Jimin had been doing his math homework there was a moment when he looked as if he was leading an inner battle. That closeness still like electrified, but Jungkook was slowly understanding it won't drift anywhere else than a crush as that beautiful scent of wild tangerine and cinder wood wasn't telling "mate."

At least I will win the bet, I will make my parents happy with going to the ball with the Park's son, he thought.

Life was so twisted, the most stunning omega he has ever met, the one he longed for the most wasn't his mate, yet, he was definitely dream. Now they had history again, so he could focus on secretly observing Jimin, the way the early afternoon sun was playing in his hair, on the diamonds earrings he was wearing. Could they go all the way? Was there even a path behind the thick walls Jimin has built between himself and everyone else? Jungkook was by now sure even Taehyung didn't have access to all Jimin's thoughts and secrets.

Yesterday during break Jungkook has overheard Vanessa gossiping to her friends about Jimin still waiting for his first heat and her hopes it will come right before the ball so she can go with him instead of Jimin.

No luck there, thought Jungkook chuckling, remembering Jimin telling him about spending his heats outside of the school in a safe place, he had been accompanied to by a friend. Who was that friend, Jungkook wished to know. Was it maybe the only person in the whole world Jimin has ever fully trusted?

The classroom door opened and Mrs. Han came in so Jungkook sat up glancing at Jimin who became completely pale.

"Park, I will await you in my office at 3 pm. Jeon Kook, please come with me," she cleared her throat when Jungkook needed a second to process her words.

"Um... sure?" He gulped collecting his books quickly to grab the backpack and storm out of the classroom.

Mrs. Han was walking swiftly and he was following her upstairs unsure what the boys have come up with.
