"Jimin, let me know in case you need any help," Tae's eyes were sad, he was squeezing the headphones when they stopped in front of Jimin's dorm room after they had finished revising for final exams in the library.
"I'm fine," he assured.
Although it was late Friday afternoon now no marriage proposal had come in yet, it meant Jungkook has chosen the easier way, but it was ok like that.
"I'm sorry, I've thought you and Jungkook," Tae squeezed his arm, his pity was actually making it a lot worse.
"I have asked him to decide like that."
"Why? Don't you love Jungkook?" Tae's eyes raised open in shock.
"I do, but... it's more complicated than that."
"Why?"
"Trust me you don't want to know."
"He's not your mate," Tae was looking at him stunned. "How come?"
"Life," Jimin smiled faintly. "Listen, I will rest in my room. I'm not feeling so well."
"Jimin. That means you will be banned from society to be forever lonely at the edge of our world," Tae was pale, his chin trembled.
"That's ok," Jimin tapped his shoulder. "I will be happy for my two best friends living their little fairy tale."
"But..." Tae bit his lip.
"You and Yoongi deserve the world, you're angels."
"Jimin, Yoongi seems like a good alpha, but we can never be sure. He's still an alpha," Tae sighed.
"Yoongi has once saved the life of an alpha almost giving his own, maybe one day he will tell you that story," there was some warmth filling Jimin's insides.
"It's about his scars, right?" There was fear in Tae's eyes.
"Yes, but it's for Yoongi to tell you."
"Alphas are scary."
"Maybe, but they're like us, lonely, searching, in love, lost."
"Jimin I wish to one day have so much trust into alphas like you do."
"It's enough if you will trust one."
Deep blushes immediately stormed to Tae's face at those words.
"I really need to rest, see you tomorrow," Jimin reached the knob to open his door.
"Ok, take care," Tae waved then left down the corridor, so he hid in his room throwing himself on the bed to stare at the double bars in the window, his memories were circling back to that fatal April night filling his head completely.
The screams which broke out in the tent the moment Jodit's assistant checked his a-gens cut the last strings between him and losing total sanity. The omegas were running but he was chasing them through rooms tearing everything he could reach into pieces, their scents so alluring, so fine and he was hungry, longing. His body like a volcano after an eruption, his vision red like blood. His claws ripping stone and metal like paper pieces so he was tearing at the doors the women had locked themselves behind, hearing their screaming.
