Jason's Pov.
That Evening.
As the men all cheer and drink as I walk through the large camp I take a deep breath, today it went good we did not lose anyone or well I did not lose any man I do not know about Jaime but it seems unlikely we completely overrun them now Lord Vance was slain in battle and somehow the coward of a Piper has made his way out .
It does not matter if they continue to pick up arms while Catelyn Tully holds my brother they will continue to be slain. Walking into my tent I raise my brow as Jaime sits at the table with two cups in front of him.
"Is this the moment where you will poison me and take the Rock for yourself?" I ask him with a small grin as I walk over and sit down at the chair opposite him. "If my wish was not to be a Knight and a King's Guard you would not have been fathers heir, little lion." He says as he hands me the cup and I shrug my shoulders before taking a sip.
"If our father loved Tyrion a little bit I still would not have been his heir, I am the youngest and yet someday this will all be mine." I say as I motion my hand around. "Do not let it grow to your head." He says as he pushes my shoulder making a chuckle leave my lips as I stand up.
"No.. No one day I will be Lord Jason of the House Lannister, Warden of The West and Lord of Castely Rock and you my big brother will be wiping a king's ass." I say overdramatically before taking some more sips of the wine.
"Continue and you will not live long enough." He playfully says and I put my hand over my heart as I release a gasp. "You would hurt me your little brother?" I say with wide eyes and hurt in my voice before we both start to laugh as I pat his shoulder and sit down again.
"Never Little Lion." He says as I start to play with the cup in hand. "Did you know her?" I ask him as I slightly look up and he let's a small frow appear on his face as he looks at me while the mood in the tent changes.
"I've met many people Jason you need to be mor-" He starts before I cut him off. "My mother did you know her, you where as old as I am now when I was born you must have known her right?" I ask him as I look at him.
"Jason... I was a King's Guard already at that age... I-I have never met he-" He starts but I cut him off with a scoff. "I can see in your eyes when you are lying why does no one wish to speak about her? Why is it to much to ask who my mother was?" I say with a shake of my head as I get up and wave my hands around in frustration.
"I met her once, I can not say her name I have sworn it Jason do not ask me to break that. But she was beautiful." He says as he gets up and I roll my eyes as I take a step away from him as he tries to lay his hand on my shoulder. "Wow thanks, yeah Jason it's okay if you don't know shit about your mother but hey at least she was beautiful. I did not expect for the Tywin Lannister to bed some ugly whore he found on the street." I bite his way while I feel the heat increase in my body as I roll my neck to try and relax my muscles that are tensing up at this moment.
"One day you will know the truth, one day father will tell you." He says and by the look on his face he doesn't even believe it himself. "Don't lie to me Jaime, it doesn't suit you. If father wished to speak to me about my mother, he would have done it a long time ago, do you know the full story I just need a yes or no?" I ask him and he takes a deep breath.
"No, I do not. you deserve to know who she was but I cannot tell you a story I do not know." He says and I down my cup of wine before walking out the tent while I run my hand through my hair.
